Our body is 98.6 F (37 C) Degrees for a reason. The 'good' bacteria also need the same environment to thrive or grow. Use a thermometer when you heat your milk. When done boiling, make sure it's 98.6 F (37 C) Degrees, just like your stomach before adding your probiotic (yogurt starter). Keep the same temperature in your oven too until done or the next day. From there, you will understand why and how.

When I began making my own yogurt, this was what I used as starter. It makes really nice and tasty yogurts.

I have a question. I just bought a probiotic yogurt made up of cow milk , but I get hives if I drink cow milk in large quantity, small quantity is fine. Can I put that probiotic yogurt in another medium which is goat milk? Will it work? Will it still have all those bacteria of the previous yogurt?

The greek yoghurt that I bough has live cultures in it. Hope it's okay?

You should not need the store bought yogurt if the probiotic is active. The probiotic alone will seed your milk and make yogurt. But it doesn't hurt to add more culture❤️
Edit: I just realized this video was just to show how to make yogurt. Lol my bad, well now you know that you can use any store bought probiotic yogurt🙂
