So I packed and sold my house and moved to a state where my Republican vote counts.

100% on this and very similar to my own journey. I actually was so inspired by Obama's first campaign, I actually volunteered to work on it...first time ever! I went to the election night party in Century City and felt so hopeful for the future. Very quickly I became disillusioned and disappointed at the divisiveness that he appeared to generate and foster once he was sworn in. After that I became MORE conservative as the left became more extreme. Never going back!

Obamacare cost my health care premium went up double and I can’t get insurance outside Obamacare. I’m glad she experienced the consequences what she helped to create.
As a small business owner my insurance premium was very affordable. When Obama started messing with the insurance my coverage got dropped. It later was reinstated and the premium went thru the roof. I could longer afford health insurance so I went with out it. On top of all that I had to pay a penalty each year when I filed my taxes of around $600. I did not vote for him. I saw the writing on the wall. I did not buy into his smooth talking.

100% on this and very similar to my own journey. I actually was so inspired by Obama's first campaign, I actually volunteered to work on it...first time ever! I went to the election night party in Century City and felt so hopeful for the future. Very quickly I became disillusioned and disappointed at the divisiveness that he appeared to generate and foster once he was sworn in. After that I became MORE conservative as the left became more extreme. Never going back!
I was the democrat at that time, but I immediately recognized the huge issue with Obama care.. especially i got the fine bc i didn't buy Obama care when I filed my annual income tax. That's immediately relevant me to the communist dictatorship country.. we get fine if we don't buy medical insurance. Also, the democrats said health is human right..but we got fines for that human right as well. From that point of time..i and my whole family switched to independents.

Unfortunately DEI works only for some minorities Americans such as Blacks, Hispanics, LGBTQs…similar to affirmative action which doesn’t apply to Asian Americans even though most thinks so. In my opinion DEI only causes more division in our country and unfairness in the hiring process where merit and qualification are being disadvantages rather than rewards for your hard work as many Asian American parents have sacrificed to provide opportunities for their children like my generation. DEI is being forced down our throats everyday by employers for those with real qualifications to step aside for ones less qualified because of the more favorable skin color and/or gender orientation despite some of the leaders quietly disagree but yet do what they MUST only to be politically correct and in turn causes more animosity. As an Asian American woman I want to be recognized and honored for my excellence when I earn something and not have people think I’m only there because of DEI favoring me. As I was taught that would be a disgrace to my parents and ancestors for getting something that I don’t deserve or didn’t earn it such as stealing if that make sense

My Mom taught countless Southeast Asians, particularly Vietnamese, in a very dangerous inner-city school and she said they had nothing upon arriving in America and lost everything escaping communism in their original homeland, yet were her best students who worked hard and never complained. Her students from Mexico, and all her immigrant students were similar. But the Vietnamese kids were the vanguard in academic success.
Majority of Vietnamese NEVER escaped communism. They escaped financial harships. They lied on their application and during their interview that they were politically oppressed. Vietnamese people are very scrupulous and that is how they get ahead. FACT!

It's also a warning how good US media's propaganda is. They top the Soviet and Chinese propaganda for sure.

I agree that it took her a long time to see the real facts, but don't criticise her for that. The fact that she eventually did wake up and acted upon it is what is important. Obamacare cost my health care premium went up double and I can’t get insurance outside Obamacare. I’m glad she experienced the consequences what she helped to create.
As a small business owner my insurance premium was very affordable. When Obama started messing with the insurance my coverage got dropped. It later was reinstated and the premium went thru the roof. I could longer afford health insurance so I went with out it. On top of all that I had to pay a penalty each year when I filed my taxes of around $600. I did not vote for him. I saw the writing on the wall. I did not buy into his smooth talking.
