थोडी जानकारी और..... ये देश पहले ब्रह्मदेश नामसे जाना जाता था। बर्मा तो बहोत बाद की बात है। राजेशाही थी । इंग्लिश सत्ताने थिबा राजा और रानीयों को भारत मे रत्नागिरी शहरमे बडे महल मे नजरकैद मे रख्खा। इन के एक बेटी ने इसी महल के सुरक्षा कर्मचारी के साथ शादी की। उन के वंशज आज भी रत्नागिरी मे हैं। थिबा राजाने आखरी सांस थिबा पॅलेस मे ही ली। उनको यही दफनाया गया।
हमारे लोकमान्य टिळक ब्रह्मदेश के मंडाले शहर मे नजरकैदे थे।
भारत का आखरी मुगल राजा को भी आंग्रेजो ने इसी देश मे नजरकैदे रखा। उस का वही इंतकाल हुआ।
