Ohhh, so it's called Wall street because the colonial wall stood there 400 years ago? :O Thanks now I learned something new! Great video!
I never knew that either.
This type of storytelling is really fascinating to people like me from developing countries. ❤
What are your take-aways from this story?
Great video, but what about slavery and live stock traded at that time🤔
Daniel, excellent job with these videos. As an educator I think the work you are doing is really top notch. However, one error is the picture you are using of the "Dutch with the Native American." (0:51) The picture you are using is actually Penn's Treaty with the Indians by Benjamin West. This took place on the banks off the Delaware in (soon to be) Philadelphia. (Sorry, I worked in the museum field for years in Philly and the area.)
In August this year, I visited NY for the very first time in my life, and was blown away, especially by the financial district. It is hard not to fall in love with New York City.
I am feeling old knowing 9/11 happened 22 years ago!

Wow, I never knew the Dutch preceded the British in NYC, interesting!
I know, right?
I did, but there other facets about NY I never knew. This is a very cool and informative series.
there's nothing quite as educational about the history of NY out there. At least nothing as compelling/unbiased politically. Purely educational. this is good! more of this if you can keep it coming x

As a South American, I know so little about NY! Thanks for sharing this :)

Before you know it I'm going to see you with ten million subscribers, awesome job bud.
You have great storytelling skills, I sense some Johnny Harris influence here.
I loved this video. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Fantastic video
Thanks! 😃
We really enjoy your courses ❤
The opening music is like from Stranger Things. Odd music for a true history video.
Don't put analog synths in a box!
wall hibiscus🌺🌺🌺🌺
Really nice video
You are an impressive young man. Finally a member of your generation who’s using his mind.
Love this vid keep it uppp
Why is the stone damaged at the Federal Hall? It's at 4:49. 😀
First of all it is old and things in NY do take a lot of abuse. Very likely the bombing in 1920 which happened across the street and only a few feet down the block also damaged it. You can research the story at your leisure .
Love the content!
Love your videos! Love your look! Love everything ❤
Thank you!
