2004 Olympic men's 200m freestyle final : Ian Thorpe, PV Hoogenband and Michael Phelps were at the same race.
I love swimming, these are definitely the best moments. I really liked the 200 Fly for men. Great finish. I am subscribing right now!
Men's 50m freestyle final at 1992 Olympic :
Alexander Popov beat two USA legends of this race : Matt Biondi and Tom Jager. Jager was still the WR holder, though, until 2000.
There are so many races that should be in the list. Who ever is behind these video should do more research.

It's a great list but one would ask if the history of Olympic swimming started in the 2000s.
Yes I agree totally & to ask why the 4x100m relay for men is not in this list still arguably the greatest relay race in olympic history with USA unbeaten in the history of this race in the olympics & world record holders they was almost guaranteed to win & the team even said that they was going to “smash the aussies like banjos” When Ian Thorpe with 25 meters to go on the last leg came back from half a body length to pip gary hall jr on the wall. this race should be in this list 🙄

1988 men's 200m freestyle final. It was supposed to be Matt Biondi vs Michael Gross. But Duncan Armstrong won the gold, Anders Holmertz took silver, Biondi got bronze.

Jon Sieben also took part in 100m fly final at 1988 Olympic in which Anthony Nesti of Suriname beat the favorite Matt Biondi by 0.01 sec.
Sieben finished 4th ahead of Michael Gross.

Men’s 50m freestyle in Rio and women’s 200m backstroke in Rio should have definitely been on this list.
The fact that you have the 2008 relay at #5 is laughable! The importance to history, Lezak's epic comeback and fastest split in history should have put it in 2nd easy.
Now you get to dump at least two of the ones on here and add Bobby Finke's epic 800 comeback and Lydia Jacoby's comefrom behind win.

I dont mean to be rude but with that time in the first race I could be in the Olympics. I get that back when he was racing swimming wasn’t great. He didn’t do a streamline. But, Congrats to him on making the olympics!
I know a teqnice that swimmer can recive to the end of line about 3 or 4 seconds than the other swimmers .
the first one in my opinion didn't train enough and swimming in a 13m pool for eight months isn't enough. But I will give him credit for making it to the Olympics (trials I think?)
he's from Equatorial Guinea... he'd never even swam in an olympic sized pool, because they don't have any. They literally can't properly train for the olympics, and he still decided to swim as much as he could to try and make it.
