Same here. Him mentioning that reminded me of a Q&A caving episode in either season 7 or 8 where he said he didn't really know many of the Hermits outside of Etho, Bdubs, and Doc. I'm also a loner with only a small handful of close friends, but even I like being able to turn 'friends of friends' into 'mutual friends' once in a while. So it was great to hear that Beef got to do some of that this season because of his TCG project.
Seriously his going to bring at least one card a week was crazy. Hats off to the beef Oh and also giving money to TFCs family is so nice too. Honestly one of the generally nicest hermits on the server along with Scar
@@boredsoimakevideos12 Maybe, but it might not be feasible. He's often complained about his internet and how difficult/impossible it makes things like that or livestreaming. He's also mentioned numerous times about wanting to move to Portugal, so maybe that's what the big life change he mentioned in this video refers to, and he can get better internet over there? Who knows.

Season 9 has become my favorite season mainly because of TCG. I went from someone who had no idea how card games worked to appreciating them enough that I’ve talked about it with irl friends who are big into card games. You mentioned how this season made you better, and I can confidently say it made me better too, specifically because of you and TCG. Thank you for all the hard work this season! Fun idea for next Season: You mentioned you fell behind on your building skills, you could do a village project. Each house is a colaboration, where you try to incoporate a building technique/Tip from another Hermit and with each tip you add them togather and grow the colaboration village.
Hey Beef, would love to see more collabs especially with your fellow former mindcrackers like Etho and Bdubs and DocM! Tango has also been in a similar boat to you with Decked Out and it would be fun to see you Tango and Etho maybe doing a season of more in depth minigames
I would happily watch 1/2 hour or hour long video's of you "rambling" as you call it while collecting resources in Minecraft. Your voice is incredibly relaxing, especially when set against such a chill backdrop.
You have brought so much joy to so many people by creating your game. We may never play the game ourselves, but watching the Hermits join together and play, and compete was fun for us. And the thousands of games that have already played this online brought more people joy. You have done well VintageBeef. And we all thank you!

Beef it made me tear up hearing you talk about how you've grown over this past season, seeing your own growth is one of the happiest feelings a person can have and the fact that you feel the drive to break out of your shell a bit more takes a lot of strength. I recently have been trying hard to build up my own ability to go out and talk to people, so hearing your jounrey hits very close to home> You've forever left a mark, not just on hermitcraft itself but on the entire fandom, the TCG will go down as one of the most impressive things from this season that united so many of the hermits together for some amazing moments. As someone who has enjoyed the online version of HC TCG so much, I can't thank you enough for what you did this season. You and Tango in particular have shown what is possible in this game and will forever be a testament to how a lot of creativity and hard work can get anything done.
Hearing all the hermits committed to the goal of hanging out more in season 10 is probably the best news any fan of Hermitcraft could hear. The interactions is what keeps me (and I am sure most fans) coming back for more videos. Nothing like watching a stream or video and a couple hermits drop by and just hang out. Its the best. I feel like Season 9 has to be my favourite season, not only from all the amazing things that happened during it, but being able to work on the TCG has to be one of the coolest things I've ever worked on and that 2 year grind you put in definitely payed off. All I want from you next season is for you to take it easier!

HTCG was such a fun project that brought hermits and real people together. I’m honestly gobsmacked with everything I watched this season. I follow nearly all the hermits, this one was a doozy. Love you Beef. I tear up at everyone’s exit. See you next season.
I don’t think it’s fair to summarize this season by brushing off the other hermit’s accomplishments and making it about the loss of TFC. It’s, of course, important to remember him and to keep his memory, but there is still a lot of great memories from this season to remember and cherish.
@@lockdot2 I personally had to take a break as well. After about 2 months tho I came back, because I realized how much I was missing all the other hermits. It was nice to have a few of the other hermits mention TFC in their end of season videos as well. I also love that TFC has been memorialized in TCG, thank you for that Beef (and his family, for giving permission)

Loved hearing you talk about your struggles in reaching out. Been watching you for over 10 years now and have often wondered why you weren’t as big in the community as you were in mindcrack. Obviously the vibes of the servers are very different but this season was a huge leap from the seasons before in content with other creators and you could see you come out of your shell a little more towards the end of the season like at the boat race. Hope to see you grow more over the next 10!

The HC TCG is a triumph that's brought the joy of Hermitcraft into the real world. I lived seeing the panel you did with Joe about the process. It made me even happier that I got your signed slabbed card in my order! Thank you so much for all your hard work on this project. It's been amazing to watch, it's amazing to hold in my hands, and I hope in the near future I hope it'll be amazing to play at a con! The TCG is a huge reason why this season has been the biggest, best, most fun, and most impressive ever. As an addendum after finishing the video, never feel like you have to "keep up" with the Hermits building. Hermitcraft is great because of the amazing diversity of skills and silliness the hermits bring. Wacky inventions, armor stands, note block music, interiors, terraforming, crazy efficient farms, ridiculously fun and immersive games, adventures, parkour challenges, and the best pranks ever. Even ridiculous roleplay *sideyes Rendog*. Hermitcraft would absolutely not be the same without ALL of the little and big contributions the diversity of Hermits bring. Your art and games and shenanigans are good enough to be a Hermit! Build if it makes you happy, but don't feel bad if it doesn't!! Take care!

Beef, first of all, really enjoyed hearing you talk frankly about some of the triumphs and struggles you had thru this season, thanks for sharing with us. Second, I think that TCG is perhaps the greatest accomplishment yet to happen on the Hermitcraft server. Everyone knows DO2 was big and fun, but so was TCG - lots of people buying cards, building arenas, having championships, and this was brought into the real world! I own TCG cards and play with my daughter regularly. I’ve played online too. You built something in MC that we now get to enjoy in our homes, and I don’t think that’s ever been done before. Huge congratulations to you, and a big thank you for all the time and effort you put into this. I became a fan and follower of you during this season.
I just wanted to say thank you for creating one of the most unique and interest games I've seen. I've never played or had interest in a TCG style game but I was fascinated by yours. Also, immense credit and respect for getting it made into a real game.
What you did this season was very special and i am very thankful that TFC is a part of the deck and all. He was very much a hermit in every sense of the word and sorely missed. Thank you for bringing him into the deck and mentioning him in your video. Sorely missed, not forgotten and now he lives within the spirit of hermitcraft. I enjoyed every bit of your season so much! I loved seeing all the cards coming together and getting refined. Even though you weren’t that social, it felt social because you focused so much on personalizing the cards to fit the hermits. What you accomplished is so amazing. When you started I thought wow I don’t even know if it’s possible to finish that. I definitely questioned if you had bitten off more than you could chew, and seeing it all come together and be so celebrated by everyone was so incredibly satisfying. I’m so happy for you. Thank you for an amazing season and one of Hermitcraft's true landmark achievements with the TCG Beef. It brought so many people so much joy, which is an amazing gift. As for perhaps being a bit of a loner - part of what makes Hermitcraft such a great place is that it offers variety, not just in Minecraft creations but also with the hermits as people. Speaking from experience, Minecraft has brought this loner some friendships that last way beyond us playing with blocks. As much as we appreciate the effort that you and Tango put into your season-long projects, I hope season 10 also offers you a chance to just have fun together as well. :)
i dont think ill ever be able to say just how much i love the tcg cards and the fact that they exist. I've been a fan of hermitcraft for a bit over 5 years now and getting to hold the cards in my hand and playing matches with them? i guess the best way i can phrase it, is that hc tcg is something that makes me just so so happy and glad to be a fan of hc :) thank you for this season and tcg beef and i am so so excited to see what s10 has in store
I feel like every hermit I have heard talk about season 10 has said they want to be more social and work together more. Im so excited to see a lot more collaboration and the social aspect of hermitcraft that even the hermits seem to be missing a bit!

Your shop opening experience is a close match to bdubs opening his moss shop. I think a fix is that when your shop is already open, leave a notice that it will be open the next day at a certain time, rather than saying it's open right when you're ready
Watching the hermits play TCG has brought me so much joy & excitementand. I loved how it brings together hermits that are not usually collaborating. Watching hermits getting to know each other more through your game, the banters at the shop and during battles, gives me warm feelings. Thank you for making it possible
Thank you for the hard work and sacrifices you made while creating TCG. Server-wide games like yours and DO2 seemed to have really made a lot of Hermits determined to be less of a hermit and do more collaborative stuff going forward, which is great. There's too much potential left on the table if everyone just did their own thing most of the season. I think next season for you will be just as rewarding since you (probably) won't have a season-long project to consume your attention.

This was the season I first started watching you. I had watched a few MindCrack videos back in the day on a recommendation from a friend. But never fully started watching you. This season, TCG has consumed a lot of your time. So now that I am properly watching you I am excited to see what you sort of normally do in minecraft. Because TCG building is not normal (I presume).
You’ve created an amazing game Beef! Have both of your own cards mounted on my shelf, if you’re worried about your building style it can be understandable being surrounded by people who make mega bases and such, but a healthy way of just slowly but surely improving is trying to build things in a creative world! And you’ll slowly improve over time! And as someone with severe social anxiety it can be really hard to just interact with someone one on one, but it is so worth it when you finally can, so I wish you luck with your social goal next season! Beef it made me tear up hearing you talk about how you've grown over this past season, seeing your own growth is one of the happiest feelings a person can have and the fact that you feel the drive to break out of your shell a bit more takes a lot of strength.

You've forever left a mark, not just on hermitcraft itself but on the entire fandom, the TCG will go down as one of the most impressive things from this season that united so many of the hermits together for some amazing moments.

As someone who has enjoyed the online version of HC TCG so much, I can't thank you enough for what you did this season. You and Tango in particular have shown what is possible in this game and will forever be a testament to how a lot of creativity and hard work can get anything done.
Hearing all the hermits committed to the goal of hanging out more in season 10 is probably the best news any fan of Hermitcraft could hear. The interactions is what keeps me (and I am sure most fans) coming back for more videos. Nothing like watching a stream or video and a couple hermits drop by and just hang out. Its the best. I feel like Season 9 has to be my favourite season, not only from all the amazing things that happened during it, but being able to work on the TCG has to be one of the coolest things I've ever worked on and that 2 year grind you put in definitely payed off.
All I want from you next season is for you to take it easier!

This season will be remembered by me as the season Hermitcraft lost a true Hermit RIP TinfoilChef.
I don’t think it’s fair to summarize this season by brushing off the other hermit’s accomplishments and making it about the loss of TFC. It’s, of course, important to remember him and to keep his memory, but there is still a lot of great memories from this season to remember and cherish.

From TFC's passing, I kind of stopped watching the season. I just can't watch Hermitcraft without thinking of TinfoilChef.
@@lockdot2 I personally had to take a break as well. After about 2 months tho I came back, because I realized how much I was missing all the other hermits. It was nice to have a few of the other hermits mention TFC in their end of season videos as well. I also love that TFC has been memorialized in TCG, thank you for that Beef (and his family, for giving permission)

Loved hearing you talk about your struggles in reaching out. Been watching you for over 10 years now and have often wondered why you weren’t as big in the community as you were in mindcrack. Obviously the vibes of the servers are very different but this season was a huge leap from the seasons before in content with other creators and you could see you come out of your shell a little more towards the end of the season like at the boat race. Hope to see you grow more over the next 10!

The HC TCG is a triumph that's brought the joy of Hermitcraft into the real world. I lived seeing the panel you did with Joe about the process. It made me even happier that I got your signed slabbed card in my order! Thank you so much for all your hard work on this project. It's been amazing to watch, it's amazing to hold in my hands, and I hope in the near future I hope it'll be amazing to play at a con! The TCG is a huge reason why this season has been the biggest, best, most fun, and most impressive ever. I'm so sad the season is over and I just have to have to keep telling myself that next season will be amazing in ways I can't imagine yet. Thank you for an unforgettable project. As an addendum after finishing the video, never feel like you have to "keep up" with the Hermits building. Hermitcraft is great because of the amazing diversity of skills and silliness the hermits bring. Wacky inventions, armor stands, note block music, interiors, terraforming, crazy efficient farms, ridiculously fun and immersive games, adventures, parkour challenges, and the best pranks ever. Even ridiculous roleplay *sideyes Rendog*. Hermitcraft would absolutely not be the same without ALL of the little and big contributions the diversity of Hermits bring. Your art and games and shenanigans are good enough to be a Hermit! Build if it makes you happy, but don't feel bad if it doesn't!! Take care!

Beef, first of all, really enjoyed hearing you talk frankly about some of the triumphs and struggles you had thru this season, thanks for sharing with us. Second, I think that TCG is perhaps the greatest accomplishment yet to happen on the Hermitcraft server. Everyone knows DO2 was big and fun, but so was TCG - lots of people buying cards, building arenas, having championships, and this was brought into the real world! I own TCG cards and play with my daughter regularly. I’ve played online too. You built something in MC that we now get to enjoy in our homes, and I don’t think that’s ever been done before. Huge congratulations to you, and a big thank you for all the time and effort you put into this. I became a fan and follower of you during this season.

I've never played or had interest in a TCG style game but I was fascinated by yours.
Also, immense credit and respect for getting it made into a real game.
What you did this season was very special and i am very thankful that TFC is a part of the deck and all. He was very much a hermit in every sense of the word and sorely missed. Thank you for bringing him into the deck and mentioning him in your video. Sorely missed, not forgotten and now he lives within the spirit of hermitcraft. I enjoyed every bit of your season so much! I loved seeing all the cards coming together and getting refined. Even though you weren’t that social, it felt social because you focused so much on personalizing the cards to fit the hermits. What you accomplished is so amazing. When you started I thought wow I don’t even know if it’s possible to finish that. I definitely questioned if you had bitten off more than you could chew, and seeing it all come together and be so celebrated by everyone was so incredibly satisfying. I’m so happy for you. About being more social, an idea I had was to randomly pick pairs of hermits to build shared bases.
Beef, you made such a GOATED game that brought the server together and gave us, the audience, a lot of fun times as well. We appreciate you for all you do and I'm sure you are so proud of how far TCG has come. It will be such a satisfying, well-deserved break between seasons for sure! Thank you for all you do! 💕

Hey Beef, thanks for this season! You achieved so much and people are right saying "transitioning things from the digital space to the physical world is an extraordinary achievement. Hermitcraft gives me joy but I feel a special connection to your videos cause I accompany your youtube persona since the mindcrack days. I missed out on writing the yearly "you are one of my 5 favorite youtubers" (like in the 2015-2020 era where you responded sometimes) this year and I guess last year too - I'm a little sad about it but still here watching. Fantastic work, you bring so much good things and positive humanity to this platform.

Thank you for an amazing season and one of Hermitcraft's true landmark achievements with the TCG Beef. It brought so many people so much joy, which is an amazing gift. As for perhaps being a bit of a loner - part of what makes Hermitcraft such a great place is that it offers variety, not just in Minecraft creations but also with the hermits as people. Speaking from experience, Minecraft has brought this loner some friendships that last way beyond us playing with blocks. As much as we appreciate the effort that you and Tango put into your season-long projects, I hope season 10 also offers you a chance to just have fun together as well. :)
i dont think ill ever be able to say just how much i love the tcg cards and the fact that they exist. I've been a fan of hermitcraft for a bit over 5 years now and getting to hold the cards in my hand and playing matches with them? i guess the best way i can phrase it, is that hc tcg is something that makes me just so so happy and glad to be a fan of hc :)

I feel like every hermit I have heard talk about season 10 has said they want to be more social and work together more. Im so excited to see a lot more collaboration and the social aspect of hermitcraft that even the hermits seem to be missing a bit!

Your shop opening experience is a close match to bdubs opening his moss shop.
I think a fix is that when your shop is already open, leave a notice that it will be open the next day at a certain time, rather than saying it's open right when you're ready
Watching the hermits play TCG has brought me so much joy & excitementand. I loved how it brings together hermits that are not usually collaborating. Watching hermits getting to know each other more through your game, the banters at the shop and during battles, gives me warm feelings. Thank you for making it possible
Thank you for the hard work and sacrifices you made while creating TCG. Server-wide games like yours and DO2 seemed to have really made a lot of Hermits determined to be less of a hermit and do more collaborative stuff going forward, which is great. There's too much potential left on the table if everyone just did their own thing most of the season. I think next season for you will be just as rewarding since you (probably) won't have a season-long project to consume your attention.

Getting to watch all the hermits build, explore, play games, etc. is something I always look forward to each season! This is so much I want to say about your season 9 but I wouldn't be able to fit it in a comment lol TCG has been such a insane and momentous experience, you put so much work into this project and we love and appreciate you so much for everything you've done! Watching the progress of the cards getting made to the arenas and watching the Hermits play the game was such an experience as a viewer. Then seeing the cards in real life!! This was the season I first started watching you. I had watched a few MindCrack videos back in the day on a recommendation from a friend. But never fully started watching you. This season, TCG has consumed a lot of your time. So now that I am properly watching you I am excited to see what you sort of normally do in minecraft. Because TCG building is not normal (I presume).
You’ve created an amazing game Beef! Have both of your own cards mounted on my shelf, if you’re worried about your building style it can be understandable being surrounded by people who make mega bases and such, but a healthy way of just slowly but surely improving is trying to build things in a creative world! And you’ll slowly improve over time! And as someone with severe social anxiety it can be really hard to just interact with someone one on one, but it is so worth it when you finally can, so I wish you luck with your social goal next season! I’m so glad you’ll still be in Hermitcraft Season Ten and can’t wait to see what you get up to next! ❤❤❤
