I saw this in the theater with a classmate. We were stressed with exam studying so we thought it would be a nice study break. The emotional rollercoaster short-circuited our brains. No more studying that day.

Saw this in the theater. It had me jacked up for weeks! If people didn't look at me while walking down the street, I wondered if I was a ghost!! Plus the ghost girl grabbing Cole scared the CRAP out of me, I screamed in the middle of the theater.

This is easily a 10/10 movie. In today’s social media generation it’s hard to explain how huge the film was just by people talking about “that twist”. Cinematography, acting, music is just phenomenal. Great review as always 👊🏻

Back in the day this was a cultural phenomenon, and everyone was talking about it, however i watched it myself many years later lol, and even knowing everything and having already seen parts of it, the movie still surprised me, is indeed one of those movies worth to watch and experience

It's one of those few films with a twist that is rewatch-able, its on rewatches you notice things you didn't before that lead to the twist that were not obvious during first viewing without any prior knowledge.

Still one of my best experiences in theatre. I was an eighteen year old boy and this has been my first real twist since "The empire strikes back".
The moment when Anna let go of Malcolm's Ring, the moment when it hit the ground, it all clicked together in my brain.
I remember feeling like falling through my seat, I was completely stunned.
I watch it now and then and despite knowing the twist I enjoy it for it's flawless acting, camera-work and atmosphere.
And of course I cry every time, like I did in the cinema.
    All-time classic.
Greetings from Germany, btw, you two are one of my favourites on YT.

Only saw it the once back in the day and didn’t think much, but I also didn’t think much of Unbreakable either. Then I rewatched Unbreakable again a couple years ago and loved it so I’ll have to give Sixth Sense another go. Shyamalan is hit or miss. For every Split, there’s an Old.

This is such a fantastic movie. Jesus was it so good. As a dad of two little girls, I watched this again recently. The part with the mom poisoning her kids...I felt everything the dad did. The heartbreak, the betrayal, the rage....This is such a fantastic movie in every respect.

“The Sixth Sense” is a poor man’s “Jacob’s Ladder”. I remember leaving the theater totally pissed about the rip off I had just seen. Sure, you could say, “Jacob’s Ladder” is a rip off of “Carnival Of Souls”, but I think they’re “similar” films, but “Sixth Sense” does look like a deliberate one, taking cues from a movie that was totally ignored by the Academy and, to this viewer, is a much more better movie overall, much more extreme and at the same time much sadder. “Sixth Sense” is just OK, but I was seriously offended by the sheer rip off of “Jacob’s Ladder”, which is the superior film hands down!

Love it! Have a good one, Shelfers! 👊
    The Wasteland Shelfer (p.6)
"Sardine, you know what to do..." whispers our Shelfer to his grizzly bear companion. With no hesitation, Sardine takes off, as fast as a race horse, as silent as a shark, heading off into a pile of residual boulders near the exit to the canyon, the same canyon Raiders had taken the women and children who survived the attack on Traders Bluff. Shelfer continues alone through the valley, at around 100 steps he knows he's being watched, his keen senses noticing rocks shifting and gravel shaking up ahead. Holding up a white handkerchief, Shelfer waves to signal the raiders camp, which he can now see with prisoners shackled together, guards, brutes with sharpened tools and guns strewn on some. "I'm here for the women and children!" Shelfer shouts, "come and get em!" replies a barbaric looking giant of a unit, holding a bloodied chainsaw in one hand and a broadsword in the other. "I'm here for the women, children, and your heads" Shelfer states calmly, whilst lowering the white handkerchief, which is signal for Sardine to fire a pinpoint accurate, silent bullet fizzing through the brute's forhead, felling the raider backwards, slowly but surely like a giant redwood. A group of 20 raiders appear from behind rocks, dumb and jaw dropped seeing their leader taken care of so easily, pew! Pew! Pew! another 5 shots leaves 15 raiders sprawling back for cover. Shelfer unholsters his three barrelled shawed-off shotgun and takes out 3 at once whilst lobbing a pipe bomb at a cliff which crumbles and crushes another 2 raiders. Another 6 silent kills from Sardine's keen snipering, all headshots. 3 raiders get close enough to Shelfer to grab him who takes all three out with his hands, fists flying and fists blocked, Shelfer takes no damage but delivers 3 broken necks. The last raider drops his spear and handgun to make a run for it, Shelfer whispers "Sardine", 1 second later and the fleeing raider falls with the fizzing of one last silenced shot. Heading over to the shackled prisoners, Shelfer shoots the chains linked to a boulder. The women and children, shaken, but seemingly unharmed, thank the Wasteland Shelfer, and his friend Sardine who is now by his friends side after catching up from his sniping position, his rifle strapped back into his grizzly waistcoat. "Thanks Sardine, you did good." Shelfer whispers, "most welcome, friend." the grizzly replies in a clear voice, and trots of with a raider corpse on his back, dinner later. "What is left of Traders Bluff?" asks one of the women, "it's gone, it's dead", cries fill the air from the survivors thinking of their lost ones. "I'm wanting something in return for taking care of these raiders" Shelfer explains, looking ashamed of himself but knowing his thick skin has got him this far in such a harsh nuclear wasteland. "Name it" says the same women, hardened but wiping tears from her face. "Information, I'm looking for Shelferville." "No such place, not that we know", with all the women looking confused. "I heard rumours of this town, you must have heard them too." "Sorry mister, no such place we heard of, where do we go now?" Asks the worried lady. The shelfer sighs and points back towards the exit of the valley, "I'm going to head that way, I'm going to my buggy, and I'm never going to see any of you again, this is our business done." Shelfer walks away from the former prisoners, who look scared and lonely in the background. Approaching the brute raider who fell first, Shelfer notices a pouch on his hip, a pouch with paper sticking out, "a raider, reading?" Shelfer questions himself confused. Papers, maps, lists of goods, tickets, a handfull of plans, the raiders were picking these wastes apart. One of the maps read "TRESHER", meaning treasure, Shelfer thought, and drawn below was a crude map with the initial "S" as the "X" marking the spot. Well, something is better than nothing. As Shelfer leaves the exit of the valley, he sees Sarding sitting by the battle buggy, maintaining his sniper rifle with a gun cleaning kit. He notices Shelfer is alone. "What of the people?" Sardine questions, "No, don't start, 'Dine, I'm not going there." Sardine frowns and quickly takes the keys from the battle buggy and waves them over his giant open mouth. "No! Let's talk! Don't swallow those keys!" Sardine's open mouth turns to a smile, as Shelfer looks back at the exit, where the group are beginning to emerge.
