Maenofferen Slate Quarry 1975

This super 8 film was taken in October 1975 on an official visit to the mine by members of the Greenwich and district narrow gauge society and Leighton Buzzard railway society.
The visit saw the three line powered incline in action (Apologies for the poor exposure). We also had a go at splitting slate in the big cutting shed.
