A 26-storey pig farm in China is an extraordinary architectural marvel that stands tall amidst the cityscape. This unique structure is specifically designed to accommodate a large-scale pig farming operation, aiming to maximize productivity while minimizing the usage of land.
Starting from the exterior, the building boasts a sleek and modern design. It showcases a blend of glass panels and steel frames, giving it a contemporary look. The façade is designed to allow ample natural light to penetrate while protecting the interior from external elements. The building is also equipped with ventilation systems to ensure proper air circulation and temperature control throughout the year.
As one enters the premises, they are greeted with a spacious reception area that serves as the administrative center of the farm. The reception is staffed with knowledgeable personnel who monitor the entire operation and oversee the seamless functioning of the facility.
The 26 storeys of the building are meticulously planned to provide optimal space for pig rearing. Each floor is dedicated to different purposes, ensuring a systematic and efficient workflow.
1st Floor: The ground floor serves as the reception area and administrative center of the pig farm. It includes offices, meeting rooms, and monitoring stations where farm managers and staff oversee the operations.

13th - 26th Floors: The remaining floors are dedicated to the finishing pigs. This stage is when the pigs reach full maturity before being sent for processing. Similar to the growing pig floors, these levels consist of spacious pens with proper flooring, feeding stations, and waste management systems.
Throughout all floors, the building is equipped with advanced technology for climate control, ensuring optimal temperature, humidity, and ventilation. Automated systems maintain the ideal living conditions for the pigs, including monitoring devices that track the pigs' behavior, weight gain, and feed consumption.
Furthermore, each floor incorporates waste management systems such as slatted flooring or waste collection channels to efficiently manage and recycle pig waste.
