I don't think the Shape nodes are available in DR 16 , but you can create the ribbon shape using Paint or Mask tools, and then add the 3D transforms to get the same results.
You can simply split the clip in the middle, and delete the second part. if you need the title for a long duration, you can either extend the clip first to make the room for the title, or you can convert it to a compound clip and freeze the second half so you can extend the freeze part however you want.

I'd love a sequel containing rolling text on the ribbons, where the letters would either fade-away, turn to dust or fall-off and float away! Perhaps add a glistening cine highlight effect to the ribbon, too! You do freelance work?

Anyway, to answer your first questions, you can reduce the Text size to fit more words on the ribbon, reduce Ribbon size(width) in the Ribbon tab, and increase the overall ribbon(image) size in the transform tab. you can definitely add those extra effects to the ribbon or text using different fusion effects, I will add this to my todo list. I'm not sure if I will have time for freelance work, but thank you for asking. Thanks again!

It's actually simple, you just Keyframe the twist amount of bender node when the title moves across the screen.

@@fractionalist did you check the background color of the ribbon? the alpha channel should be 1.
