And to think he was 50 at that time. His voice sounds exactly the same as if you would listen to the single itself. Nobody can pull that off, to sing that great live.
Most of the singers that sang R and B in the 1970's can do that. They used to call it "backing your wax"___no auto tune, no producer tricks, just straight up singing. Of course, Michael is from the 70's.
Samantha Chandler & cute bae Thankyou for that info. I was wondering what are his personal favorite songs that he wrote or not. Could you please name some ? Thankyou verymuch
That's why he was so exceptional and unique. The best entertainer in the history of music. Singer, dancer, composer, writer. He was Leonardo da Vinci of music :)
+Mabel_Pines419 better i would say, he's never ever sounded this on key at any concert , would have been the best concert ever. miss ya MJ learned how to sing and dance from him, nd everyone says im the best they heard and seen, dont copy him just make it my own
+Harry Davies Clown, please! Nobody rehearses at full speed that's been doing this for 40 years. Michael (as well as other successful professionals) know how to pace themselves in a rehearsal. They know their abilities, they know how to 'call up their voice' and/or modulate their chordal thrust in order to deliver a song. The reason they work with professionals is that the musicians know how to progress their chords on the fly to accomodate a singer, so STAND DOWN. Michael was a 50 yr old, which qualifies him as one they may have needed the teleprompter (As a person that is a little older than Mike was, I can attest to that). This man recorded hundreds of songs with Motown as a pre-teen, recorded hundreds more to then select a few for album presentation, and you expect him to be ON POINT ALL THE TIME? Just the notion of that is fucking ridiculous, but more importantly, is unneccesary. Are u so uninformed that you don't think entertainers employ 'tricks of the trade' such as teleprompters, stage tape, and yes pre-recorded digital vocals to enhance their performances? How in the hell do you think they make it thru acrobatic dance scenes? Get informed, then get a life.
I love that break in the music where he stops (the audience goes insane!!) It's like he can hear the crowd in this video.. he just waits in silence.. Yessss!! 😜 Rest In Paradise MJ!
every time i watch this, the first thing comes to my mind is this is that, this is the small guy from jackson 5 who started his career at 8, auditioned for motown with his brothers and ended up like a king, living last moments of his life........
Basement Dweller he’s made 800M after death 😅 and had a 500M net worth before. not that he ever cared about money, that never showed in him. others were always using him for money...starting w those damned evil Evan n Jordan Chandlers to his own monster of a father.
MJ JACKSON He did lip sync during his HIStory tour and some other performances, but it was because he was sick during that time. MJ is definitely one of the most talented artists/performers of all time, and he was 50 at this time! That just blows my mind
he was 50 years old here at the end - and just as amazing and bright and fluid and sharp and on pitch and magical as EVER in this whole entire career. Just a gift from GOD.
whoever disliked any mj video is a hater. this man is a legend. I mean he literally just killed it and this is REHEARSAL. Michael is the reason dance is what it is TODAY, and so much more. HE IS STILL GUINNESS'S BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS "BEST ENTERTAINER.. AND HES NOT EVEN ALIVE. NOW WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED IN LIFE BETTER than that? HATERS PLEASE TAKE A SEAT OR DON'T WATCH. SMH I hate negative ppl...RIP MJ ❤
christa marie literally every dancing legend of today has took inspiration from the MJ style n swag. the robotic moves, the smoothness and the isolation of parts. he revolutionized dance.
He was a molester.. The dislikes are probably from people who dislike pedophiles.. "Leaving Neverland" premieres in just over a week!! it will expose him..
belle32100 James said he was abused from 1988 to 1992 (remember that) -He said he was abused alot in the neverland train station, but the train station was built in 1993 and it opened in 1994 -He said he was abused after the grammys show in 1989 in New York,But that show was in Los Angeles and michael didnt perform grammys that year -He said he was abused on a trip to euro disney in 1988,but euro disney opened its doors in 1992 -Remember that the FBI already hates black people,so if they had the chance to expose michael they would have, they investigated michael for 10 years and they found NOTHING And to think with an open mind why would they sue the king of pop 10 years after his death for 100 Million dollars Please investigate and do your own research
I do believe he is alive in somehwere living in peace! something he never had in life, away from the devil called midia and hatres! he is simple the best ever!
This was going to be his best tour. Vocally, his phrasing on “Does He Do Me That Way” is simply mesmerizing. It’s so funny how a simple change in phrasing makes the world of difference. It’s almost like a totally different song with that little change. Absolutely phenomenal. This is the only way I hear this since the very first time I saw this clip in 2009.
The vocal fry @1:38 in "I like lovin' this way" is amazing. I wish he did that in previous live performance of Human Nature but so glad he did it at least once here.
Michael Jackson with his voice, talent and spirit helped the world to love one another and helped the world to not see barriers such as race, colour or creed but instead share the feelings of love and peace. His music also inspired us to be proud to be an individual as well as an equal and his music shall continue to share these messages all around the world as Michael Jackson really is a true legend not only within the entertainment industry but as a humanitarian and as a symbol of hope, love and peace to people all over the world.
This is the artist in his workshop making art. Every single detail has been rehearsed, every movement has been established. That's the difference between a professional and an amateur. (And there are several amateurs pretending to be professionals).
He still has it. The magic, the voice, the moves. No doubt he is really the King of Pop. And to some of the artists nowadays who says that MJ inspired them, "y sum of u produce crappy music?" This is the REAL thing, the REAL sound of music and it has the essence. R.I.P. Michael Jackson. We miss you so much.
I watched This Is It this weekend and it gave me an entirely new appreciation of MJ. LISTEN UP, POSEURS (aka 80% of the successrul "singers" today): this clip is a REHEARSAL, with NO Autotune. He's not even full out singing and the man has PERFECT pitch. Simply astounding talent. He makes the vocals, and the dancing look so EASY. I wasn't a big MJ fan until I saw his process and his passion in this movie. This was one of my favorite songs in it. Those high notes...transcendent. Thank U Michael.
Michael's determination is awe-inspiring. He always gave his all in every performance, and the fact that this was just him rehearsing evidences the fact that he still had the same power to captivate his audience as before. I just wish they took better care of him during this time and saw his health as the number one priority. It fills me with great sadness that he passed under such strain. He deserved so much more.
Love love love. You will always be the greatest artist to have walked our Earth. And you remain alive within our every heart beat for generations to come. You are missed ❤
I finally got to watch 'This is it' for the first time yesterday. I saw his demeanor throughout the rehearsals. He was soft spoken, kind, respectful, professional and humble.I watched him giving his all to give his fans the most amazing show.Human Nature is my all time favorite song. I could loop it, listen to it all day and still get chills. It breaks my heart that no one could save him. Oh why oh why did you have to leave us so soon,Michael? Once again I sat here and cried my eyes out for him
I find his performance of this here and in the many different versions from live performances completely memorizing, the dance he does at the end, the one in the spotlight is incredible and dramatic, it is out of this world and there is nothing like it anywhere else, I can watch it over and over. No matter what complications he had in his private life he really was an incredible artist
+DeboSTV He's getting a feeling for the groove, key points. Like all of "This is It" rehearsal, he is free styling. God knows how amazing it would have been if he gave 100% or more on a live show like he always did in his last concerts.
He was still on point vocally, and for those that say he wasn't singing as good, also remember in rehearsals, singers don't use their voice to its full power, so they can preserve it for the actual concerts. This man still inspires me to this day..
The world will NEVER be the same. I just wish we could have him back for one more day. It could possibly send him even above the heavens to know that SO many people loved him and cared for him. More so for his kids, they deserve a proper goodbye. He was there world, they were his world. God bless his children.
This is Brilliant and i am so glad this was filmed. Imagine what the actuall concerts would have been like? Amazing and awe inspiring! My BF and i watched this last night we loved the way Michael knew exactly what he wanted in the production down to the finest detail. His voice was still amazing and his energy was that of a 17yr old. His mind was extremely sharp. God i love him and miss him. Beautiful person, Beautiful soul with a REAL message of love.
See how beautiful was the song rendering...!!! See the 50 year old MJ transformed into the bad era MJ when the song begins..!! We can't see him with this much of energy in any other rehearsals rather than This is it. HE IS LEGENDARY!!!💖 MJ forever❣️
His voice is still the same at his age 😘😘😘 I miss Michael Jackson so much There will be no other king of pop you will always be in our hearts love you idol😍
Encore une merveille comme seul Michael savait les faire. J'adore cette chanson et ses prestations qui me donnent à chaque fois la chaire de poule et les larmes aux yeux. Repose en paix Michael.
At 50 years old and sounded the same as he did at twenty something..That's pretty AMAZING…LOVE YOU and rest in peace, angel...
50 years with a diagnosed lung disease, Lupus, and yet he was still able to hit those notes - incredible
At 50, half dead (no joke), and he could sign and dance better than many of today's young performers
He’s still alive don’t trip. Wait on that.
@@MisterMoncivais Lol he wasn’t half dead, he literally was killed, he would be alive otherwise
@@JonathanNelsonOfficial he isn't?
It's like his voice came with inbuilt auto tune and special effects
I've never heard it described so well. You're so right. Pure gold!
+globalcitizenn Absolutely & his dancing was just perfection
word
And to think he was 50 at that time. His voice sounds exactly the same as if you would listen to the single itself. Nobody can pull that off, to sing that great live.

His voice is divine , filled with emotions
My favorite MJ track, or at least one of.
I know it was also one of his personal favorites.💓
that's the best way to describe what separates him from the rest. It's like going on an emotional rollercoaster when you listen to one of his songs.
Yes one of mj's favourite
Samantha Chandler & cute bae
Thankyou for that info. I was wondering what are his personal favorite songs that he wrote or not. Could you please name some ? Thankyou verymuch
That's why he was so exceptional and unique. The best entertainer in the history of music. Singer, dancer, composer, writer. He was Leonardo da Vinci of music :)
his voice is still the same as he sung that back in 1988, pure golden angelic voice

Very on point, the way you described him.
+Harry Davies Your picture confuses me. You might be more confused then me actually.
+Harry Davies Clown, please! Nobody rehearses at full speed that's been doing this for 40 years. Michael (as well as other successful professionals) know how to pace themselves in a rehearsal. +Harry Davies lol actually he said plenty of times in the documentary, he was trying to save his voice for the show. its REHEARSAL!
It's like, from 3:21 to the end, you're witnessing the end of an era. The end of greatness in each passing second. R.I.P Michael, truly one of my favs
This version is like.. better than the original. Seriously MJ was something else, no one can even come close to this level of brilliance.
He hits the high notes so awesome! And it's all him nothing else. No auto tune, no backround track, just him and his band
***** The live rehearsal is not auto-tune.
Christopher Daniels *i think he knows.*
best pop artist Ive seen in my lifetime
Because he is
tyranist the day he died, is the day that very great music died
Probably the best artist any of us will have ever seen / heard. There is no way there'll ever be someone else quite like him.
watching the king at work....
...an honor
Right
nicki15710 ces quoi cette voi l était du dumerol
Daang the band is really good
But Micheal led the voice of that bannf
The very best for the GOAT!
Yea he chose them all because he wanted the best of the best
MJ rocking those orange skinny jeans like a boss!! His voice cannot compare to anyone's
I love that break in the music where he stops (the audience goes insane!!) It's like he can hear the crowd in this video.. he just waits in silence.. Yessss!! 😜
Rest In Paradise MJ!
I cried! This is his best performance of this song. 😭😭💔💔💔

Sad that he never got to do it. We'll forever miss his beautiful face and voice. I love you! :)
you got that right
Yess🤧😭
I keep coming back to this song, it is the most amazing live performance in the history of music for me. Thats my opinion. His voice, oh god his voice
Destiel I've been rewatching and rewatching and rewatching this since This Is It came out. My favorite song, my favorite performance.
The passion in every move...
And people always taking shit about lip syncing. Lmfao MJ was all natural and had pure talents. No one can ever comes close to Michael Jackson period!

WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL VOICE!!! STUNNING CHARISMA AND AMAZING ENERGY!!!
Natasha Original I LOVE IT

And he started in perfect pitch with no help from the band...very VERY difficult! just shows what a tremendous professional he was! The KING!!
yass hes killing it he was perfectly fine to me after all its just rehearsal
His voice is beautiful damn that concert would have been something.....Love ya MJ

Dear God, please when I pass over, can Michael Joseph Jackson meet me at those gates singing this,
Amen.!
I miss MJ's "earthly presence" soooo much.

Salkis Re lmao
***** well i assume thats why he grabs his critch all the time lllllmao
LOL
Salkis Re Lol
Gerald God yes yes the testicles!
Even this rehearsal footage conjures true magic
I always loved Human Nature beat, it's so beautiful along with Michael Jackson's voice.
He performs as if he hears the crowd screams and shouts for more.
He will always have a truly iconic voice! This was just a rehearsal and fully entertaining. He sounded great.
Still on top of his game even til the end of his life man. Hardly anyone can pull that off. PURE talent. Completely archetypal in nature.
2:32 does that signature side step so perfectly.
Michael Jackson with his voice, talent and spirit helped the world to love one another and helped the world to not see barriers such as race, colour or creed but instead share the feelings of love and peace. I really really reeeeally miss him! I love you Michael!
His voice is the same : live or studio.... amazing!!!
Why are there so many dislikes?!?! This is gold right here, RIP the king of pop
2:08 gave me life!!
Just too sad to watch. This song always seemed to be one of his favorites. We will always love you more Michael x
Who is still loving this song
in 2020?
7 años sin Michael ...esa voz tan especial...te recuerdo con tanta pasión ....gracias por todo lo que hiciste .💗
The move that MJ does at 2:16 is extremely badass.
That’s how I want to move away from people sometimes
He still has it. The magic, the voice, the moves. No doubt he is really the King of Pop. And to some of the artists nowadays who says that MJ inspired them, "y sum of u produce crappy music?" 03:16 OMG ❤❤❤
And just think, this was him NOT giving it everything and it's still hypnotic.
Michael's live vocals sound superb and he still sounds the same as when he first recorded the song only minor difference is that his voice is lower.
I watched This Is It this weekend and it gave me an entirely new appreciation of MJ. LISTEN UP, POSEURS (aka 80% of the successrul "singers" today): this clip is a REHEARSAL, with NO Autotune. Michael's move at 0:24 gets me every time too funny!! :)
He farted

That smile as he is "wailing"...JUST LOVELY!!!!! :)
The best song and danceman to EVER have liveded, he was the KING OF MUSIC, ROCK, POP AND SOUL.
