@@firstnamelastname1566 Actually the Nuggets are one matchup the Celtics really don't want. The reason isn't just Joker. It is AG. His ability to cover every position at his size and strength is the 'x factor' that got Denver their ring two years ago. Despite AG not getting the nod for All-Star I don't know anyone who really knows basketball who doesn't think of him as an elite PF. Just do the position by position matchup. Playoff Jamal vs Jrue Holiday is a solid matchup with Jamal having the nod on offense and Jrue on defense. Basically a tie. Braun vs White at the SG is again a solid matchup with White having the slight edge defensively and basically a tie on offense with CB having the greater size and athleticism at the rim particularly in rebounding and put backs. Jaylen Brown and MPJ at the SF JB is the better athlete, but MPJ is the better outside shooter and is significantly larger and the way MPJ's game has improved the last two seasons means that size is now causing real problems for opposing teams. The nod slightly goes to JB, but MPJ gets hot and all bets are off. Jayson Tatum vs Aaron Gordon now this one is hard to judge because JT is clearly the better offensive threat, but AG's intangibles in a seven game series cannot be overlooked. When the Nuggets came up against the Celtics and those two went head to head AG basically owned JT's ass holding him way down in all statistical categories while having an above average game himself offensively. Joker vs KP well what are you going to say... Joker is the best player in the world right now and it really isn't even close. Unless KP can just catch fire from outside to pull Joker out of the paint consistently this matchup clearly favors Denver. So like I said... of all the Western Conference teams the Nuggets are probably the ones the Celtics would least like to face in the Finals.
I think a huge difference is Jokic is more busy putting people in places to make them succeed. Allot of players he played with before were more busy trying to make themselves look good.
