Yeah ! It's based on the chinese story/legend, however there are some subtle/or major differences from the show and book. This show leans more towards children in audience. And i'd explain more, but i don't really want to accidentaly end up rambling about the show and spoiling a lot. But i suggest giving it a watch I hope i was able to explain this !
