I literally ran a catfolk monk based off of Goku. Stunning fist with flurry of blows acts like supersonic punches use the imagination hahah, ki blast is literally a ki blast or Kamehameha if you use three actions, take the monk feat to heal yourself like your popping a senzu bean, and ki form is your super Saiyan, takes a while to get there but worth it (the aura that surrounds you is the Saiyan ki, awesome.) Don't mess around, take dragon stance and get that D10! Plus you're Goku baby, SUPER DRAGON FFFIIIISSSSTTTTTT!
This is very fun, was not expecting a kineticist but it makes sense, it is the most 'anime'-esc class in pf2e so far. Any thoughts on what archetypes to get if taking the free archetype variant rules many tables are fond of? Would monk dedication synergize well with this?
I'd actually take a look at barbarian. Many Z Fighters get really angry when they fight, and IIRC there is a barbarian instinct that pairs well with kineticist. The level 6 instinct ability lets you pick up the barbarian's level 1 rage ability.

Definitely is. I mean, you can definitely just say that you channeling your elements looks exactly like them powering up their ki
