The pool rules - the first one says that persons under 16 must be accompanied by an adult resident... given that the mom is there with her son to supervise him with his friend, that would suggest the son's friend who is a resident is NOT an adult. Granted, guests must be accompanies by a resident and only 2 per resident - but the resident needs to be an adult.
Why do people pull the race card when it has nothing to do with race... instead theres a pool that clearly has more than 2 people to one resident, plus her, and no adult resident. So glad she posted the rules - she should apologise

S9: Rules about the pool. Theres always rules with pools about who can go in them and how many otherwise its turns into exactly what the woman was doing. Then on top of that if something happens, off course they dont want to be sue'd. Dont make it a racist thing when it isnt, nothing to do with colour , just about housing rules. If anybody could go in, then there would be so many that would do it. The white lady wasnt being aggressive by any means, just doing her job and finding out who's who and she did it nicely, and the black one was wrong...very wrong.
I Used to visit my Friends Dad's Apartment complex when we were in HS. The Rules at that complex was as long as Visitor was with a Resident it was OK. My Friend wasn't a Lease Holder but she lived with her Dad. I was Allowed to b at the Pool with my Friend

You eat most of or all your food you will not get a refund. I had a pair of guests who would do that every week. The manager would give them a refund even though they ate everything. She was a pushover. We got a new manager. They tried that with him. He was going to give a refund until I told him they do it every week. He shut that down real quick. They went from ordering 2 appetizers, 2 most expensive plates, 2 deserts to 1 appetizer, 1 main course, and no desert. They never tipped anyone.

If your restaurant is short staffed then close until you can provide properly, this goes for any service provided
you know you cant just shut a store until people come work (the store is closed so nobody would come work at a closed store)
If your restaurant is understaffed you threaten, cajole and guilt-trip the remaining staff into covering all shifts and positions because that's how you make more money! Why work a full team and pay when you can have 6 people do all the work and YOU pocket the 'profits'..

I would not have yelled at the kid, but as someone who is an outdoor hiker it bothers me to see a tree abused that way.
