Thank you for your very well-made video. Your soothing voice and music, the clear views at perfect speed and of course the information provided makes it a top notch presentation. You’ve made me a subscriber!
Thanks for the great review. I've long thought that stopping people from serving themselves at the buffet would cut way down on the amount of illness (norovirus for example). I too hope all cruise lines stay with this way of serving at the buffet.
the biggest problem with virus' on cruise ships is PEOPLE. The amount of people who would always refuse to sanitise their hands. People who know they are sick prior to leaving home but dont want to miss their adventure. So many take it onboard with them. Serving yourself in a buffet is not the problem. It is called EDUCATING THE IGNORAMUSES OF SOCIETY.
I really enjoyed the close-up look at the buffet. Everything looked yummy. I’m planning a Princess cruise this Fall and I’ll be looking forward to sampling all the good stuff.
Thanks so much for the video! Do you happen to know when meals are swapped out? I’m wondering if I can grab a couple sandwiches late morning to take on land excursions. Or were there sandwiches or other portable foods available for dinner that I could refrigerate overnight?
@@we5tbevryertyv the cafe has takeaway coffee, muffins, sandwiches etc. So go there for stuff to take off ship for excursions. They'll bag them for you.
Is there a burger place other than salty dog? I understand that there will now be a charge for salty dog. Also, any free ice cream - sugar free - available?
I don't know where you came from. The selection of healthy foods in buffet was kind of limited but not surprised. I am a meat eater so not interested in any sweet or carbs. I guessed the cruise lines wanted passengers spend extra money in specialty restaurants.
Just got off a cruise on Sky Princess. Breakfast buffet was not good. Scrambled eggs were runny every day. Couldn't get an omelet made. Chef doing eggs mostly ignored you. Parfaits were watery. Seemed like it was left over from day before.
I've always been curious about those whole, showpiece desserts I see in videos like these. Are you able to actually request a slice or are those just for show? Thanks for a great video! I loved the pacing and the smooth camera work.
I thought the Marketplace buffet was nice for breakfast, though unoriginal. Lunches tended to be good, but leaned a little too much toward Indian food, which was greasy, and not as nice as other offerings.
One option at the buffet I really enjoyed was that when I asked for an omelette & sides, I was handed a slip of paper that I handed to a waiter after I had found a seat & the fresehly cooked omelette & sides would be delivered to my table. I had to remember to pick up utensils & bread on the way to my table. I will test that for delivery outdoors at the wake view bar when next on the Sky.
Thank you for slowly making your way through the choices and including the signs that state what each dish is. Very helpful and very appreciated!
Thank you for this! Me and my wife are going on our first cruise on Sky Princess and this gives us some idea's of what they have!

Thank you so much, this comment has made my weekend ❤
Same here. Well said, an almost professional presentation, but fresher.
Great video! What were your favorite dishes for lunch and dinner?
Very pretty. I like to have breakfast in the dining room on Princess. I could order their french toast even if it was not on the menu.

hello thanks for this video, Greetings From Majestic Princess | Circle of Friends.
Thank you for the buffet update. It looks so much healthier than in years gone by. On the Sky for Norway in June. Enjoy and be safe. 😀
We are a month away from our first Sky Princess Cruise. This was really helpful. We were kind of dreading the buffet experience, but no longer.
Are you by any chance on the Sky for the Trans-Atlantic in mid March?

Nice video. Man do I want back on a Princess cruise ship! So hungry...........:)
It looks so clean
0:46 question: When you eat breakfast, is regular drip coffee complimentary as part of the meal, or do you have to buy any drink other than water?
Hi, drink coffee and various teas included.
@@travelswithlizzylou 'drink' coffee? lol. I guess you meant drip coffee?
🤣🤣🤣, yes drip
Thanks so much for the video!

Did they have any burgers chips and hotdogs?
Yes, all of those, every day
And seafood
Thanks for this Amber x
Thank you for a great video. Do they give you a tray to carry all of the small bowls of individual items?
I didn't see any trays, and didn't get given one, so I'd say no. X

Is there any hot desserts yorkshire pudding
there may have been some at a different sitting at buffet if you can't see any in video. I take footage at 1 sitting.
do they serve everything
Yes, they do serve everything.
Do they serve the same food everyday ..….…
It differs day on some items. Theme days, Italian, Indian etc. But alot of it the same.
I enjoyed the video, but I think it would be better with more explanation of what the dishes are.
Seems like it is staff-served? I much prefer self-serve.

Very nice. I wanted to email to myself, but I'm having a problem.

Thanks for watching my vlog 😊
Was there any noodle dishes
there were noodle dishes
All food included in your fare or do you have to pay them onboard?
it is all included. It is only the specialty restaurants that you pay for.

You definitely can ask for a slice of cakes or pies.
