Rot and Repair - fixing a rotten plank on our Thames barge and learning to sail with our new Skipper

The winter always seems very long, with the short days and grim weather adding to the misery of discovering rot in the deck of our sailing barge, but it’s all worth it when summer finally arrives.
This video shows us repairing a rotten cover board, before rigging the barge out and starting our season with a ‘Learning the Ropes’ experience.
We also introduce our new Skipper, Stephen Hunt, who will be taking the helm for the year whilst Ed is off with his newborn.

I remember Steven when he was a teenager he was very keen and he turned out brilliant, he didn't have the big beard last time i saw him four years ago, cheers
