Sorry I haven't replied yet, I wanted to check whether there is a specific sequence to follow when connecting the jumper. I'm sorting out a battery issue with my Daughter's bike today, so I'll try it out and let you know if that might be the problem.
@@TreesAndWheels thanks for replying. I actually managed to get mine started but I used all the arteck power. the thing was completely dead at the end of me trying it about 15 times... and it turns out I have a cheap crap battery in my car that isn't really suitable for it. So although it's running it wouldn't hurt me investing in a good battery, especially now winter is here.
@@deadstreet1675 Definitely worth investing in a decent battery for winter. Daughter’s battery is completely dead, but it’s a small motorcycle battery so I probably won’t have the issues you had 🤞
I have 2 that I've had since 2020, and both are still working fine for me, but a quick look at the reviews shows that some other people are having the same experience as you are. It might be a case of pot luck with poor quality control. I'm not sure this jump starter is for sale anymore anyway. When I eventually need to replace either of mine I'll probably go for a Noco.

just bought one , great little kit to take with me touring !! plus charges up phones , tablet etc etc .
I'm surprised more people don't have one on the bike with them, but then I take much more than I am likely to need every time I go on the bike 🤪
When I try to use mine I get a red light show on the jump leads and nothing else happens. Not sure if it's my battery or the jumper!

Someone must've used this on me at birth XD
That would explain SO much 🤪
If you want a reliable devise, this isn’t it. It doesn’t hold a charge for very long, and will just not even hold a charge after about one year.
