Here, she is doing a collaboration with Los Macorinos, the two older gentlemen who create the beautiful music. They are two greats, themselves, who have been playing for many years. Los Macorinos bring the experience with old music and she brings those songs back to life with a fresh voice. Together they won a best folklore album - Latin Grammy with this album.
I remember playing this song to my mother at the hospital before she passed. This song is so bittersweet.
