After reading the comments in the Unawakening Float video about how that song reflects how Sonic doesn't have much time left before he dies, this song is a perfect follow-up, as Sonic- who's life force is being drained- has to give "every single drop" of all he's got and "every single bit" of all he has to beat Erazor.
I've always thought of it as Sonic wanting to see Erazor's full power, to show that even while close to death, Sonic wants to have a challenging battle.

I took a month to understand that and only now after years I realized that I can slow time so all that thing becomes easier, so I was doing that thing without slowing down the time😂
