These 2 people are truly blessed. I’ve been visiting the Bronx Zoo for over 25 years and I’ve never seen the Snow Leopards that close up for a full 3 minutes straight. In fact, you’re considered lucky if you ever catch a glimpse of the Leopard in the background!!!

But I agree with @Ted as well. from personal experience, representation does matter. my 12-yr old Indian American son's favorite movie is Yesterday. I thought it was bcos. of the Beatles' songs. But no, it was bcos. of what @Ted Kord mentioned above. An Indian playing the lead role. We need more movies like Yesterday, Crazy Rich Asians, Black Panther & Shang-Chi. The audience is diverse so why not the cast.

This entertainment thing is so big and powerful it causes the media to stir things in addition to the entertainment and thereby causing people to accept what's normal and what's not...what's popular to accept and view people as and what's not. Thereby influencing real life relationships in a social, romantic or professional way. Might not affect older people's viewpoint but certainly morphs the younger minds when they look at other kids and not include them into their group bcuz of what they look like, where they might come from, etc.

The part about love only needing an initial investment is such bullshit. The first 6 months you're drowning in oxytocin and other feel good hormones. That's the nature's way of making you literally so stupid that you don't question anything and just go with the flow. That lasts 3-6 months and by the end two people are, to borrow from the episode, fused. But you don't need science to tell you that's what happens, everyone knows it's called the honeymoon period. After that sweet bliss is when the relationship gets tested: first arguments, doubts etc. That's the time to start putting in the effort, to continue investing and working. That's when you decide if you want to stay with that person. That's when it is no longer infatuation but love. Love isn't a hidden city you stumble on in a forest. Love is a city that you build from scratch in a clearing.

My love life went from these two where I was convinced that I'd end up with the love of my life to the other older couple in this episode who cherish the connection they once had but now have given up on it. Given up on relationships entirely tbh. Wish I could pity myself but just don't.

The first season of Modern Love was absolutely amazing!! They butchered the second season though.
Okay i didn't love their story as much as everyone else. BUT hear me out. Despite how... unsavory it all was, I have to give the actors credit for having that sweet, vulnerable, angsty, slightly smoldery chemistry that still has me invested in them having a happy ending. What can I say 🤷🏽♀️I'm a romance girly🥰. But if this was real life and I was Joshua's family or friend, I would be confused and worried about them getting back together 😅
