Tamora could do with more softness and maternity; this is an appeal to mercy for a mother's favored son, but the lines were spat out as some sort of condemnation, which has the effect of dehumanizing Tamora a bit and perhaps making her too 'villanous' from the start, in a story where she becomes plenty villanous as it is. It's Tamora's willingness to bare all (especially her tears) to Titus in a vain attempt to obtain this mercy, and his subsequent rejection of it that sets the tone of the entire play, so getting it wrong is a bit unforgivable. Do not assume that the cast members of a production 'know' how a thing should be done. Sometimes it's as simple as taking too many directorial liberties, as I believe was the case here.
I love the set, I love the costumes, I liked her screaming. Shakespeare meets real and contemporary emotions. None of this muted toned down sophisticated BS
