Thanks man! I like a lot of Wukong's design in theory but I've struggled with him a lot with his strict parry timing compared to Beowulf and always seeming to get caught in the wrong stance. Looking forward to trying to actually master him.
Best of luck! He's definitely the most unforgiving character but he feels great to master (still working on that). I might make a short video fully covering his parry in the future because it is kinda odd but certain attacks you only need to parry once and it'll parry the entire chain of attacks. For example the dagger cultest or the ghouls that throw up only need you to parry once to block the whole attack. You have to stand still though, the second you move it ends your parry
Currently the only other guide I have is for Aladdin, I'm working on a Geppetto guide for this weekend. The Aladdin guide shows off some builds and some of my shorts show some of the strongest builds I've had
@@Weejee456 Yeah! I did some talent tier lists where I talk about builds at the end, currently working on a Carmilla guide and it’s going to cover specific builds in detail. This Wukong guide was one of my first videos and probably needs to be remade at some point to cover how to play him
This was recorded before the update where I didn't find it as important but I still should have done it in this run with my time. With the most recent update I almost always do side quest, there's a lot of really good legendaries added, and the experice is pretty necessary to hitting level 5 before the first boss in nightmare difficulty. I'm going to work on a video covering running the map and priorities in the next week or two that will talk about chapter 1 side quest a lot
I think his starting talent 'thirst for immortality' is now a lot better as you have a whole 3rd chapter to build your Vitality and it's a lot easier to get duplicates of magical objects. Stacking Ogres Blood and Horn of Plenty with that starting talent makes Wukong really safe and does a lot of damage. The new talent "Om' also makes his special builds a lot better. I might do an updated guide after I finish the rest of the characters because I feel like there's a lot more I could mention with Wukong
@@positive4ce thanks for the reply. I'm trying to get better with Wukong since he's one of my favorite mythological beings, I like to play him in any game he's in. I'll be sure to sub for the guides and gameplay, thanks
He's probably the most challenging character to get out of the early game with, I feel like once you hit level 3-4 with him he starts performing better
@@positive4ce even if I suck at using him, I have to admit he really is interesting though! And yeah, it does seem to get easier when you reach certain levels... For the most part anyway.

Nice vid. Wukong getting the love he deserves
Id love to see more character guides or even a quick compilation video showing some of the strongest/broken builds for each character

@@positive4ce Looking forward to that, mate!
Great work man, thanks for sharing this with us
goated video. commenting for algorithm.
would like to see a map prio guide if you dont have one already
thank you, I appreciate the support! A map guide is a good idea, I'll either be working on that or another character guide this week
Cool guide, love it! Did open build possibilities that I did not seen before! Thanks! Will you do more "How to" for the other heroes?
Thank you I appreciate it! Yeah I'm currently working on making guides for each character and some videos on unique interactions in the game
@@positive4ce Nice ! I'm eager to watch it!
Can you make build types for each character. Currently there's no resources to see all builds possible

Do you not do side quests? Your map shows you completed an event mildly close to it. Are they not worth it?

Does Ringing Beads synergize with Stick Twirl like I think it does? Does each fast hit of Stick Twirl also activate a hit from Ringing Beads?
Yeah it does, really good to combo with Om as well for great AoE
@@positive4ce Oh neat! I have not tried out Om yet.
Improve a random talent four times is insane! Did they remove that now or something cause ive never seen it
@@MatthewEGardiner yeah that’s how the old grimoire use to work, this video is a bit outdated now so I’ll have to make an updated one in the future
@@positive4ce oh gotcha, i just picked the game up recently but im loving it. Honestly your video was still very informative, thanks for the help!
Did anything change with the Avalon uodate?

Wu Kong is king!
