I'm the rare breed of highschooler that normally goes alone and gets along with everybody at the gym😂. And I actually have a good split and don't only do chest lol. I go with people sometimes, max three people total, and we try not to hog any pieces of equipment.

There is a God Tier subclass of old people you're missing, and they're not all that uncommon. There's some people in their 70's and 80's, and they come in, do good form and work with what they can, and go home. When I see them hitting a bench I can't help counting in my head how many reps they're on and rooting for them to get another in. The older people I've encountered have all been very polite and leaving people alone. Some of them are cool, and I honestly wish they were more chatty, I wonder what they do it for. We're all gonna get there one day (hopefully). God I want to see a Ninye video when he's 80! Probably smoking more than ever!

He straight up just let go of the tricep pushdown. Like not even at halfway, no he pushed it down and let it go. And I am afraid if i let the plates accidentaly touch and make a small sound.
There are these 3 kids and all of them are a mix of the loud middle aged man and the high school teenagers at my gym. They grunt super loudly no matter the exercise and skip legs. I actually used a machine after them and thought they would've had it at a higher weight because of the grunting, but it was 20lbs for triceps pushdown.💀
When i go to the gym with my friends (the gym we go to is in a small town, so it's not really big, the locker rooms are way smaller), i see standard people going to this gym, unlike the gym in my High school, the students that went there almost looked like olympians.

I think you forgot one other type: the sweaty tryhard. A combination of the stoic and the guy who is always there. I never bothered to discover what type of gym person I am until the cruise I was on a week ago. It was the first time ever seeing a relatively crowded environment. But I discovered that I always come in at around early afternoon with 7-8 hours of sleep prior and attended 8/10 days for the duration of the cruise. But I have to admit I do have bad habits such as not wiping down the equipment after I am done and I sweat A LOT. The only thing I really do is put a towel on the headrest of the bench or seat of whatever machine I am using

I stay in the gym for an hour or less because I train relatively intense (Till failure with heavy weights) for like 3 sets for all my workouts with about 2-3-minute rest time. I talk to the group a lot but most of them are like how he described. I love my bros but sometimes they be too much and hopefully they see that their training philosophy is terrible. I am basically the stoic but "in" in the group of high school guys.
I'm a combination of the crackhead, highschool kids, villain arc dude, the stoic, never the running guy. I talk to myself all the time, ego lift, wear a hat almost over my eyes so I can't look up, pace around the whole gym all the time, never skip legs, barely ever get any "cheat meals", think I'm a monster in the gym, listen to whatever, watch Sam Sulek, hate middle aged to old guys and women. Also I want to mention that in the gym I am a true gentlemen, only slamming deadlifts :D

Im an introvert & Ectomorph skinny Guy and when i first decided to join the gym ,I was scared... I saw Buffed up women, Men , Short, Tall, Monsters, Loud People, Loud music ,etc. But sooner i realised, these people are just like me rather Some Dudes are the best.... I got Gym bros finally And upon observation (compared to women) I think We Guys make Instant Friends from "hello" to "Sup Buddy"in 15secs lol I am now 1year into gym and calisthenics , have observed so many things - Teenagers bringing their girlfriends Attention seeking women Women with thier dudes , yet still Oggling around Dudes setting up other dudes... Old couples trying their best , etc etc its entertaining!
Just realized I am the exact definition of the stoic guy, I listen to only classical music, I dont take any preworkout/post workout/drugs/caffeine, and I have never skipped a single leg day All the other stoic guys 👇👇
One time I was at the gym and this dude was lifting 260 pounds total but after a couple of minutes, his legs gave out and almost broke his neck. The staff didn’t even notice or care that the dude had collapsed. What I’ve seen most though is swole dudes grunting so loudly and then checking themselves out
