After a few years (a few days ago), while looking for a Bon Jovi song, I stumbled upon this track again, unlocking a memory.
We all have memories locked away in our minds that we can't recall until a similar circumstance brings us back to that hidden place in our subconscious mind.
I remember that when I used to listen to this song regularly, it was when I didn't have a purpose in my life. I spent my time smoking marijuana and feeling sad. Listening to this song, that type of sadness was the most beautiful thing I had, but when the song ended, that beauty disappeared completely.
Today, I can say that I've overcome that stage; I'm on a journey toward fulfilling my dreams, and I remember this song with a lot of affection and appreciation.
