As a newbie DE shaver in my earlyish 40's I'm surprised at how many in the community still rate classics like Brut, I'll Old Spice and Tabac as I'd thought they were reserved for generations gone by. Clearly not the case and I'm now tempted to invest in some, especially since they represent really good value in the UK. Great work as usual Kevy.

Hello Kevy, I have a few of the same aftershaves/colognes you have, including all of the different Pitralons that I like more for their properties than their scent, which are just o.k. My favourite aftershave and cologne is Blenheim Bouquet, the epitome of luxury, followed at a distance by Klar. As an inexpensive daily AS I am very fond of Speick. Thanks again for your videos. Didn't see any Pinaud Clubman ... classic man's AS and inexpensive. Get yourself some! BTW, I've got about 10 of those RR aftershaves. I too had some that seemed to be "leaking" or the cap doesn't secure well. If you look under the cap there is white foamy/plasticy liner. I found that if you remove it, the cap catches and closes tightly. But if you want to keep the liner, try jamming the liner further in or trim the edges and bit. Worked for me. Cheers !
Caeser, the Pinaud Clubman was there at 6.30, but it was in a different glass bottle as the plastic one was leaking too! I'll try the tip with the RazoRock cap, thanks for that, I want to get some more RR splashes. Cheers. Kevy 😀
I haven't tried many yet but so far my 3 favorites are: Pinaud Clubman Aftershave Lotion, Pinaud Lilac Vegetal, and Florida Water. Is the LACOSTE crocodile the same one that gets cut in half by the NACET razor blade?
Sooo disappointed the imperial lather aftershave is no longer available . I have a vast collection over 100 aftershaves and around 70 edt but the smell of imperial lather soap has always been comforting nostalgic love . The fact I can't get my hands on the aftershave is heart breaking lol

Tom Ford is just way over-priced, there are a lot of better alternatives that cost a fraction of the price ;) Check something like fragrantica.com, and you can see which other fragrances they resemble :)

+Kevy Shaves I'm a weird one because I'm have such a limited selection. Mainly because strong scents give me migraines so I can't really adjust to many things. I've been using the AOS Sandalwood since 2005 when they had one store front in NYC. It's weird because now there seems to be so much disdain towards them since they sold to a corporation (which I understand) but the scent to me absolutely heaven. I use the body soap too. That's why I was so excited you introduced the Fine version so I can use it after the cream and before the balm. I've tried TOBS at it is medicinal as Anthony Esposito warned me. TOBS cedar also smelled very "burnt" to me. I like the mildness and scent of Trumpers Almond. I recently ordered Castle Forbes Lime and DR Harris Sandalwood so I'm excited to try them and have a small but solid rotation going. I love that we can now order samples from the online vendors which gives me a chance to try stuff out before committing to a large quantity.
+Kevy Shaves as far as colognes I'm a loyal Gucci user. I have Burberry touch which is awesome but again can be too strong for me at times. I've tried all the Clubman but I honestly don't see the rave. Like I said I'm a loner in the wet shaving world but I always try and expand my horizons. I just always come back to old reliable AOS Sandalwood. I have in my will a request they line my coffin with the scent lol

What a collection! I'd think the hard part would be deciding which to wear or sometimes when sampling a couple of the scents an accident happens where they combine but not in a good way; then you're stuck with an odd smell and perhaps a day long headache. :D I have the Jovan Musk. This is strictly individual to me but the scent reminds me of Friday nights after a shower and fresh clothes then hitting the town to pick up girls only to fail miserably... XD But still I love the aroma.
I am struggling to find anywhere to get aftershaves around where I live! It seems that the US has a load of choice! All I can find is Boots Freshwood and Superdrug equivalent. By the way, I have an abundance of fragrances......that is not what I am talking about

I found an old bottle of Benetton colours aftershave the other day. forgot how nice it was. Definitely going into my rotation. favourite just now tho is le male by gaultier. might need to try some of the old school brut or old spice tho.

Looked online to find out what the scent notes were, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was based on AdP... I have a couple questions: how do the XXX aftershave and D.R. Harris Windsor EdT last and project on skin? Windsor is my fiancée's favorite shave soap scent that I own. I'm also curious if the XXX aftershave would be a comparable and much cheaper alternative to AdP Colonia. Hoping it's scent lasts at least a few hours. Great video BTW; you are hilarious! Urine sample....LOL!
+Erica Vargas Erica, the XXX splash is very close to the original ADP scent. On my skin, it lasts for 2-3 hours. The D.R. Harris Windsor EDT is a beautiful scent and the scent lasts on my skin for about 6-8 hours but it might be different for you. Hope that helps. Cheers. Kevy 😀

XXX is such a great scent! Did you know it's based on Acqua di Parma? I love it!
