You can use the car key to engage the lightshow as well by pressing ( unlock, unlock, lock, unlock ) and by pressing unlock once to switch to the next lightshow. To cancel press lock button once or twice.

I have a 2016 ram. I took the tazer out of my 2019 Charger RT and tried it in my ram to see if it would work just for fun. To my surprise it works. I don’t have performance pages but I can put it in SRT mode. And SRT comes up on screen when I start truck. I have all the skins or whatever you call it for the hell cat on my radio background. I use the hell cat. I can change engine and transmission separately for eco, sport, sport plus, or track. I can change it to be in any mode on start up. I have it so it starts up in Sport plus. It also has the light shows, but I don’t use that. Don’t sound fascinating to me. I can also get scat mode but I like the SRT. So if anyone has a charger and a Ram both like I do. You can save some money and not have to buy a tazer for both vehicles. Just buy one for Charger and use it to help out the Ram. Only thing is where you have the option for transmission 5 speed and 8 speed leave both at no. Because it has a 8 speed but on the ram it has the rotary shifter with just drive. And for some reason it will lock the shifter if you choose 8 speed. So choose no and everything works fine. No engine lights or anything. Runs a little better and shifts at higher rpm. It wasn’t a slouch to begin with but better now than it was. Fuel mileage is a hair worse. Was getting 14.2 mpg average. Now getting 14 mpg average.
Why would Ram hide all these settings from their customers? These are just plain cool!! Thanks for the video, loved it. Love the truck, keep these videos coming.

A day after installing I had my auto emergency braking light come on saying it needs service and not working and I’m trying to figure out how to fit it, have you had any problems like that?
So my dads Trx had a cilinder 4 misfire and we are going to take it to the dealer but I tried unmarried it but when I did and did everything how I was shown the setting still show up like the day time running litchis still on and mirrors close/open and he bought the extended warranty and need help with this please
@@DISMOW i think before you unmarry, you need to reset to factory settings. I believe that's an option on the main menu. Then you unmarry it. I haven't used mine in a year so I could be mis-remembering...
Same options as the TRX tazer...and there are some options that are still available after disconnecting from the truck, but many features do require the Tazer to be connected.
so can you use this to have the turn indicators blink white on the front and red at the back instead of amber, like with the older trucks? is this better or has this more options and adjustable settings then AlfaOBD?
Honestly I do not know if that's possible, but I don't recall seeing a setting for that. I was able to make the front DRLs amber, and when I hit turn signal the amber halo flashes. I don't have any experience with AlphaOBD...
How is this performing after some miles? I bought this after seeing it on your channel, and have been staring at it on the work bench for a couple weeks, as I am quite hesitant. A lot of the electronic mods on the Gen 2 Raptor I wish I would not have done, but there are a few features on this that I desire, I am just leery 😬
It's a little iffy honestly, seems like every new feature I enable causes 2 standard ones to stop working 🤣 For example, changing tire size to 37 made my parking sensors stop working. If you're doing just the auto-folding mirrors and DRLs it works great. But many of the other features have bugs and don't work right yet...just my 2cents

Yes they did, I figured out the correct settings in one of my subsequent videos. However, I have since removed the Tazer as it caused other unwanted issues and was very glitchy.
@@ShowMe_Your_TDs honestly only tested it for about 5 minutes, and was mainly trying to get it to break the back tires loose at different speeds haha So no idea on gas mileage difference...

Removed the tazer due to some quirks. When you increase tire size above 35" using the tazer, it disables parking sensors. Also some of the features only worked sometimes, like back camera coming on when using turn signal to change lanes etc

I believe you need to turn off the halos and make sure DRL are turned on in the Uconnect regular menu to make the amber lights work.
I just needed to turn on the DRL in the center screen and now the amber halos work 👍🏼

I am not certain about that...but I think you have to turn on parking lights for that (taillights will be on too)

In the main menu there is the option to "Unmarry" the device, which can be done before going to the dealer.

I need help turning the halos amber please. for whatever reason, the bottom bar will light up but not the top. any ideas?
You have a tazer DT? And did you set the DRLs to Turn? Also have to turn on DRLs in the Light settings on the big center screen

Don’t need the tazer to turn of the seat Belt ding....quick fix for that that’s free.

Can’t “turn it off” but by changing the tire size you can go faster than 120 on stock 35’s!
