Know you can respectfully speak up to your mother, father. Get support from family, friends, aunty, etc. Speak with wisdom, not emotion only. Know your religion, as parents should not force you against its teachings. If they do, you have every right to say no, refuse and create another path Allah approves.

Children are always psychological characterized based on how their parents were, example some girls whose dad were much older when they were born, gets psychologically attracted to older men, etc, also it is an assurance that you aren't screwing around and you are genuinely serious about her. Just tell this to the families, youth is helpless to achieve this by themselves, they will get into a fight with their parents eventually as you suggested here 5:15. When that happens one should follow their own hearth and if their sprouse is faithful then they should stand up for that relationship. One can not be the protector of the ummah while being helpless to defend his or her own rights. Getting married is a right and unfortunately some parents are not prepared to see that happen. I’ve watched many of these videos and know what the islamic way to finding a spouse is supposed to be like. I’m sure all of us know, yet we still come back to these videos seeking guidance. It’s because a question isn’t being answered; What do we do when the majority of the world doesn’t operate in this way? It would be soo nice to be approached indirectly, but on a personal level, i’m a very private person and i don’t want too many people involved - why? Because they TALK sh*t. Alhamdulillah I am selective and keep good friends close to me, but this can’t be said for everyone. Some people are naive. And not everyone decided to approach indirectly. And families WILL take it seriously or they wont listen because you have to marry some incompatible cousin. We say we must have a conversation etc but its not easy to have conversations about this. Its easy to say but not easy to do.

Also before I continue my actions have been set and done and I couldn’t care less if any of you have something to say about my past because again, Islam is all about your relationship with you and god, not anyone else. I am 19 years old. Obv a Muslim. I dated a girl for 3 years. Had sex let’s get that out of the way. But apart from that I really did love this girl. For a good amount of time she looked after me very well and our families were very supportive of us. But she became very toxic and abusive as time went by. I really thought I was going to marry this girl after we both had finished uni together. Started in high school and even went abroad together for uni. But I find out she had cheated on me with multiple people. I thought okay she’s young and has a lot to learn so I forgave and taught her lessons but she never wanted to learn. My family and friends grew to hate her but I still defended her because of how long we had dated. After getting a lot of strength I had recently finally ended the relationship. And one thing I find 1000% true from this video, is that I have been left terribly scarred and don’t know if I can ever ever trust anyone again even if I meet a girl in this Islamic way. So whoever is reading my advice is, be careful. Take things slow. I know there are a lot of viewers like me who aren’t fully religious but still keep allah at heart. If you want to date then date, just be aware of your religious consequences and also your consequences in this life as well. Slow and steady has never meant so much to me than before. I don’t care if you have had sex before marriage, that judgement is between you and god. But if you ever want to take part in something that is very sensitive and very spiritual between you and your partner, I repeat, BE CAREFUL.

I agree wholeheartedly with the analogy of the scale metaphor, I believe weight must be taken off from the left in order for the two to meet at the middle. parents overwhelm their youth and the youth don’t bother, imagine if an extremely difficult exam/task is thrown at you, most of us will just decide not to do this exam/task at all because of how difficult and strict it is, similarly the youth see all these expectations as just impossible and they’d rather just take the easier path. Of course those who take the hard path emerge much stronger, but that is very few of us, I believe if parents were more understanding the youth would be much more open to Islamic processes, at the end of the day I don’t blame parents as that is how they have been raised and taught, but the reality is this very strictness is what’s scaring the youth away and parents must be able to see this than just blaming the youth.

For me, familiy shouldnt be involved till its serious. U need to learn each other, by ur own and true self. Family members have nothin to do with u and ur partner. Mostly they even makes it worse, cause they dont know. And if u cant control urself, when dating, then u have to work on urself at the first place. But, its way to hard to find the right one on ur own, without hurting and get hurt. I think the best and easiest way, is to give 100% of ur love to god and work on urself every moment, to be a better person and a better partner. And maybe someday god will send u the right partner, because ur ready for it and wont make mistakes. And maybe if u meet this person, you will just feel its 100% the right one. Then you can learn each other without the risk of hurting or get hurt. So i think the way to ur soulpartner is through god and urself. Noone esle should be involved.
28 years old and I havent found me a wife yet and honestly I think that is my nasib in this dunya... This kind of indirect approach is quite common in South Asia, especially the the boy's moms😂😂 I swear when there son tell them they like you or something the mothers become FBI, and they literally chase you and try to talk to you, act so friendly, hold your hand and stuff😅😅 When my parents got the first proposal of my marriage I was only 16, and my parents told me about it and I was like I am FREAKING 16!! I wanna live a single life with my friends doing crazy teenage stuff Anyways I am 20 now, and my mind has become creative at rejecting the marriage proposals cause I am just not ready and I am too afraid of the thought of leaving my parents So my point is, indirect approach is nice but you should realize that for a teenager it might get annoying, cause girls have to give reasons for rejecting the proposals, and it gets annoying at times

InsyaAllah, marriage life will be filled with ease to the point your spouse helps you to increase your iman. That's why while we're young, we're taught to pray for a good spouse. But first, we must learn to love ourselves and families. Then only it's easier to understand someone else.

I’ve watched many of these videos and know what the islamic way to finding a spouse is supposed to be like. I’m sure all of us know, yet we still come back to these videos seeking guidance. It’s because a question isn’t being answered;
What do we do when the majority of the world doesn’t operate in this way? It would be soo nice to be approached indirectly, but on a personal level, i’m a very private person and i don’t want too many people involved - why? Because they TALK sh*t. Alhamdulillah I am selective and keep good friends close to me, but this can’t be said for everyone. Some people are naive.
And not everyone decided to approach indirectly. And families WILL take it seriously or they wont listen because you have to marry some incompatible cousin.

Also before I continue my actions have been set and done and I couldn’t care less if any of you have something to say about my past because again, Islam is all about your relationship with you and god, not anyone else. I am 19 years old. Obv a Muslim. I dated a girl for 3 years. Had sex let’s get that out of the way. But apart from that I really did love this girl. For a good amount of time she looked after me very well and our families were very supportive of us. But she became very toxic and abusive as time went by. I really thought I was going to marry this girl after we both had finished uni together. Started in high school and even went abroad together for uni. But I find out she had cheated on me with multiple people. I thought okay she’s young and has a lot to learn so I forgave and taught her lessons but she never wanted to learn. My family and friends grew to hate her but I still defended her because of how long we had dated. After getting a lot of strength I had recently finally ended the relationship. And one thing I find 1000% true from this video, is that I have been left terribly scarred and don’t know if I can ever ever trust anyone again even if I meet a girl in this Islamic way. So whoever is reading my advice is, be careful. Take things slow. I know there are a lot of viewers like me who aren’t fully religious but still keep allah at heart. If you want to date then date, just be aware of your religious consequences and also your consequences in this life as well. Slow and steady has never meant so much to me than before. I don’t care if you have had sex before marriage, that judgement is between you and god. But if you ever want to take part in something that is very sensitive and very spiritual between you and your partner, I repeat, BE CAREFUL.

I agree wholeheartedly with the analogy of the scale metaphor, I believe weight must be taken off from the left in order for the two to meet at the middle. parents overwhelm their youth and the youth don’t bother, imagine if an extremely difficult exam/task is thrown at you, most of us will just decide not to do this exam/task at all because of how difficult and strict it is, similarly the youth see all these expectations as just impossible and they’d rather just take the easier path. Of course those who take the hard path emerge much stronger, but that is very few of us, I believe if parents were more understanding the youth would be much more open to Islamic processes, at the end of the day I don’t blame parents as that is how they have been raised and taught, but the reality is this very strictness is what’s scaring the youth away and parents must be able to see this than just blaming the youth.
This is how arranged marriages where and two incompatible people are forced to live together take place which in turn ruins their kids' life.

And maybe someday god will send u the right partner, because ur ready for it and wont make mistakes. And maybe if u meet this person, you will just feel its 100% the right one. Then you can learn each other without the risk of hurting or get hurt. So i think the way to ur soulpartner is through god and urself. Noone esle should be involved.

28 years old and I havent found me a wife yet and honestly I think that is my nasib in this dunya... Its not that Im not thankful Im even happy that I have Allah in my heart and I really benefit the happines from Allah by doing good deeds, but to know that I dont have someone like the opposite gender, a female, a Muslimah who is there to make me calm and to help me to soften my heart in certain circumstanses I mean thats the thing which makes me a little sad. Anyway whatever Allah wants for me is better than that what I want for me and when he says No for you in this dunya like no wife than it's his Haqq(Right) over me and I have to accept it. Sometimes Im in a state of khajjal(ashamed) that I dont wanna make dua formyself like for whatever it is like anything. So my eyes are watering and mouth closed without praying for it. Sometimes I just say lord you know whats in my heart and you know what makes me sad and then I finish my speech with words like alhamdullah.... May allah accept your prayers, your fast, your salah and every little good deed my beloved brothers and sisters inshallah we'll meet one day but in Jannah, that being said I ask Allah to guide us all and to write us among those who entered al Jannah... Allahumma Amin, wa salatu wa as salam ala muhammadin wa ala alih muhammad ....
U shud ask allah for anything and everything!! Don't feel shame in front of allah

Whatisthisshit btw did you know that in the time of our prophet marriage was not in the 20s or 30s. In their time they got married at age of 13-16 so why can’t we? Im not saying that I will just do sexual intercourse like that but in the Hadith the only things that you can not do is cheat or commit fornication with someone you don’t know. But in this era having a girlfriend is the same equivalent of having a spouse.

In the east, society used to be strict. Modern generation nowadays seeks relationship, which is a sad if you consider the society. In past, our parents was the decision maker. They used to decide who would be your husband/wife. Love before marriage was considered illegal. But now, things are changing. The western culture is influencing and changing the eastern culture. Anyways I am 20 now, and my mind has become creative at rejecting the marriage proposals cause I am just not ready and I am too afraid of the thought of leaving my parents
So my point is, indirect approach is nice but you should realize that for a teenager it might get annoying, cause girls have to give reasons for rejecting the proposals, and it gets annoying at times
