Man, people may dismiss EBF because they're "just flash games" or whatever but they're legit better than tons of mediocre non-flash RPGs out there, they're not just "good for flash games", EBF games are just straight up good, to this day. Especially from EBF3 onwards when they became full-blown RPGs into which you could easily sink tens of hours. They're some of the most underrated games ever made. What other flash game could you possibly think of that you would comfortably sink 30-40 hours into, and then replay it again? I would go as far as to say the EBF series may very well be the greatest games ever made by a single individual (except the music ofc, Matt didn't make that). At least when it comes to sheer, raw, unbridled fun gameplay

I learned to not rely on it tho, since you have to beat Hydra more than once - Valkyrie deals its own share of pain as well (most famous is double nukes, which on Epic you will have trouble destroying in 2 turns without limit breaks), so you will have to reach it more than once

I love everyone in comments and viewers. This is only group where I feel at least a part of. I didn't have fancy pc or good internet but having chance yo to play epic battle fantasy in turns with my younger brother is amazing. It's so good. He's not interested anymore I think but I still reminisce the times I spent immersed in trying to beat tough bosses. I belong nowhere irl and everyone considered me weird and avoided me. This was comforting to know I had something unique

It was actually a friend (one of my only friends then, not in contact with him anymore) who introduced me to them but he had way less of an interest funnily enough, way more passing and casual interest. I just got hooked on them, especially EBF3 onwards, because I saw the games for what they were: proper RPGs, not just "silly flash games". Also, I'm sorry people have avoided you

I used AOE (area of effect) attacks and if one is alive, and one dies, only once, do they ever revive their fellow fallen head. Kill them at the same time with aoe's and they will be much easier, lol xD Although this was with potions on normal mode.... so eh..
Lulz, i took the hydra in one try in normal mode. (I syphoned them near the beginning of the battle with the rune blade and started dealing damage to them evenly, then used the kyun-cleaver combo to kill both heads at once.)
i had 3 ideas for a secret optional secret hyperboss trio 1 the reason 2 reality engine 3 the true creator all of these bosses have billions upon billions of health and use attacks that make supernova look like a match the reality engine is like sans only using the game engine to create hundreds of different attacks/abilities the true creator? watch out for their cataclysnettameggido a attack so powerful it attacks every timeline past/present/future causing apocalyptic damage and to make it more difficult the fight takes place in a nigh endless number of battles at the same time and the evil characters this time round? eldritch style

@Andrei Oroian EBF3 is the only game with a mandatory level cap (30). 5 technically has a level cap (50) if you're in V2 and use scaling foes, too.
