Dear hotels and home stays during this festival your self incremental of you rate was extremely bad, most bad impression by every tourist was the cost and prize of the rental room...
The normal common rate of good rooms were ₹1500-₹2000 however it went up to ₹5000 and above just for one night, which is equivalent rate of 5 Star hotel Taj Hotel room rent.
I don't understand who made all these rates, the tourist department should look on this matter serious on next coming year to this self made rate on hotels and home stays.
The private hotels and stays are just taking over extra advantage at this time, the greedy of the hotels and room owner were seen at the best festival time.
Want to be rich in one Night!!!!

@Chumdemo Yanthan, Right on my friend. We are such a small ethnic group in the larger scheme of things but unfortunately, the Eastern Nagas feels that they don't want to be a part of the Nagas. Hopefully common sense prevails.

I don't understand why the food is so expensive in there? On 5th of dec I paid 200Rs for 3 pieces of thumb size pork meat, me and my frn was very shocked. Not only pork but everything is super expensive. I hope the govt look into diz matter and reduce the price.

I have visited the festival on the 7,8 & 9 from Odisha and have enjoyed a lot. I am really impressed with the stage coordination and the choreography.
There I find a rich vive at the festival.

Please do not allow dog meat at the festival. You have the Kohima night market for that. If you want international attention then dog meat is considered a stigma. Yes, the Spaniard ate it. But that is what outsiders Indian/Foreigners will take away with them. It makes good cooler talk.

I am disappointed visiting Nagaland. Visted during 24th and 25th December 2022. I felt hotels and car rents are expensive but that is fine. I was expecting more when I visited. Anyway Nagaland, Kohima, Dimapur ......
