yes plz. cool to see what other players are up to, and get ideas on how to build better, espesially if you can implement some of those ideas to your own builds:)
This is definitely THE. MOST. AMAZING base I have ever seen in this game. It sucks about the framerate, and that update 4 is going to nuke like half her production lines, but oh my God. The belt work, the piping work, the train tracks, it was stunning. I was literally gawping in awe.
Oh boy, just wait until you see Josh's base (aka let's game it out) in satisfactory the framerate per second became seconds per frame. That guy made abominations after abominations.
"In awe" just doesn't cut it. There's so much talent and dedication poured into this. So many styles, so many design patterns, and they are all amazing. Truly a work of art. Or rather, a whole world filled with a massive collection of art. Unbelievable.
Built in 2000 hours after practicing for 8000 hours? In all seriousness, this is the most incredible build in any game that I've ever seen. If the creator is not a Civil Engineer, they are missing their calling.

Oh boy imagine spending 2100 hours making a gigantic turbomotor factory and then the creators tell you that the turbomotor pipeline is going to be completely changed
Welcome to early access games where we are all basically beta testers enjoying a game that honestly should auto-delete all saves each update. It's really our choice to play an early access game before its full released, and our choice to waste hours on something, that in a single update, doesn't work anymore :)
Now 4 is out, im back into the game and i was super proud of my half finished transport system (no trains yet).... i now feel like im useless, pointless, and worthless..... and i love it! Need to work harder, more ideas, more plans! Love the mega base!
Thoroughly enjoyed this video Kibitz. Please do more, but don't stop your base builds. I've learnt a heck of a lot from them - like prepare for a mid game power trip! That happened when my sooopercomputer factory came on line. Only one problem with this base tour. I was just putting together a short video of my paltry 800 hour base, then Amelie's blows mine out of the water! Guess I spent much of that time mooching around the planet enjoying myself rather than using my imagination!
*cries in a few blocky factories* - I thought I wasn't doing too bad myself, but looking at this save, at its design, the creative usage of the terrain, and the immense scale, I can only take a deep bow to the creator of this save. Just... wow. Really nice job.
She really created that famous railway disaster haha OK KIBS! QUICK BACKSTORY! That train sticking out of the window is reference to a disaster where a steam engine was travelling at a very high speed. As it was approaching the station, its brakes suddenly failed, and instead of coming to a halt, it crashed through the building and was left hanging outside to the ground
I thought I had made some crazy s%*t, then I saw Kibitz. Then he showed me this and probably just broken Satisfactory for me lol, how can we live up to this... ;)
"quickwire? That's an interesting choice for a recipe" .... *Gets to quickwire production* ..."ooohhhhhh". 😂👍 The train looks like Gare Montparnasse station crash, so cool I love it.
Watching this is both inspiring and intimidating at the same time! I'd like to build more and make something special, but how can you ever approach such levels?
This Stargate Atlantis remake with satisfactory is absolutely beautiful. Shame on you kibitz for not watching Stargate Atlantis one of two best TV shows ever to air on Scifi with Stargate SG1. Lol just kidding kibitz but now you should watch the episodes this whole base tour is beautiful, intricate, and stunning 😍❤. Well done Amelia
By the look of it the train hanging out the station is a reference to the Montparnasse train crash. (although it was not the only train ever to crash by coming in to a terminal too fast, it just happens to be the most classic one)
I was hoping to like see the switch turn on and all the turbo motors being manufactured! But that's just a side note, this is above incredible, borderline impossible. And I thought you were awesome Kibitz! This is just wow!
I enjoy :D It's really nice that You show other player's factories :) I'm under 600h now and I spend a lot of time to copy in every detail Power plant complex from my 'real life' hometown(Zielona Gora). It's not finish yet, because I decide to put 1:1 scaling. Hardest thing is to build transformator stations (I'm using just micro management and moar mods). But I'm lucky because my father worked there many years ago so I also know almost all of interior :D
The train coming out of a building is reproducing the Montparnasse derailement, a real and quite famous accident that happened in Paris in 1895. That looks incredibly cool in satisfactory!
Kibs I have been watching your videos forever. I love the content and it has given me so many ideas. That said, this base layout has made your mega base look more like Dr. Evil’s base. This base has truly channeled its inner Spectre

This is beautiful. Games are an art form, this here is proof. Also, there's only 103k foundations because so many machines, train lines and belts don't have any.
The train is a reference to the Montparnasse derailment, as I just found out on wikipedia when I looked it up. This map is making me feel a bit called out.
I'd love to see Amelie do some design, detailing and decoration tutorials! I really hope there's a way to do perfectly half-offset foundations without mods, that alone would open up SOO many possibilities!
this is what happens when you get stuck in a world, like stuck in limbo like in inception, you start imagining your world and build upon it, you'll be lost in it, and years will go by... btw the build is amazing. I don't even play the game, but I've played enough Minecraft servers to understand the difficulties of making this :)
It's an awesome world like a fan-art on Cities Skylines modded... but in 1st view. An artist. Anyway i continue in love with Petropolis, Kibitz!! (I'm doing now...) The Beast... mmm... too much for me, haha! Thanks!!!
For perfect slopes try the following... Make a slope 5 tiles long (8x2m) followed by a flat tile. Make a slope 90 degrees from the flat tile... repeat as required for the amount of lift/fall required. Then, make a rail from the middle of tile 3 of the slope to tile 3 of the next slope.
