Too true my friend, she is growing like a weed! Can't believe she is almost 5 years old now! Nature truly is a wonderful classroom! All this technology and cell phones have made kids not kids anymore, they grow up too fast and hardly ever get outside. Stay buried in their phones and forget how to actually get out and communicate face to face with people. Wish I could keep her little forever! Thank you so much for all the kind words! I hear you brother. My kids are older now, but my son gave us two grandchildren. A girl and a boy. Everything you hear about having grandchildren is true. I never knew I had so much love in me. I love my kids but these grandkids brought out something in me that I didn’t know I had. I’m blessed for sure. Do you have a PO Box? If not you may want to look into getting one. Tony was surprised how much mail he’s been getting.

Great video! My girlfriend lives near Norris lake and has been wanting to camp on an island. We have kayaks and would be paddling out. Your video is inspiring and I hope we can do it this year. And find a spot as nice as yours.

And I do worry about unexpected things like that for the most part but I tend to be a really light sleeper anytime that i'm camping or out in the wilderness. I always have my gun on me in case of any predators and just for overall protection really. I really enjoy island camping because there really isn't any wildlife on the islands others than birds and bugs and if anybody tries to come around you they would have to come by boat and you'd hear them for the most part. Kinda makes it a little easier when you bring your family with you. But great question though!! And you're right my youngin' is growing up way too fast on me! I grew up camping on that lake with my parents, my sister and friends. I've got to get back into doing that. Brings back memories for sure
