I went over a month ago and by far my favourite ride was how to train your dragon and the Madagascar one is extremely fast and is the fastest, I didn't realise it was fastest before I went on it.
this looks like it will be a great abandoned themepark to explore in 10years from now.

it isnt abdandoned they probably went in a day where it was a school day
It was probably a weekday when most of the kids are at school and people are gone for work , plus in dubai in summers people usually prefer to go to water parks instead , I've been there recently and it's full of people

3 types of tickets - entrance to the park (Dubai park and resorts) ,entrance to MOTIONGATE and entrance to MOTIONGATE with free lunch in any cafe

please specify - what season are you going to the UAE and the composition of your family .
I think 95 % of people in the UAE speak English, but the problem is - usually this is not their first language
On a trip, I usually make films on I Phone and
action cameras ( Go Pro and Sony )big DSLR cameras are too heavy and attract unnecessary attention, small ones aren't much better than action cameras
if you are rich enough, choose Jumeirah Al Qasr or any resource at Madinat Jumeirah is also a good choice -
Atlantis, The Palm or any resort on Palm Jumeirah, if aren't -Grand Hyatt Dubai :))
