- Phoenix Ancient City (凤凰古城), located in Fenghuang County (凤凰县), Hunan Province, China, is renowned for its exceptionally well-preserved ancient town that reflects unique ethnic languages, customs, arts, and distinctive architectural remains of Ming and Qing styles. Nestled in a mountainous setting, the town beautifully incorporates the natural flow of the Tuojiang River into its layout. The town offers convenient transportation options, with the nearest airport in Tongren City just 34 km away and the nearest train station in Jishou City 50 km away. The Fenghuang Maglev, opened in 2022, further enhances connectivity to the area.
