i love this project! But i think it would be easier to stitch if you punch holes first with a hot nail or something like that... After that, you can add a lot of improvements, the only limit is your own imagination!!!

+Manisha Arshi gt hot glue for plastic, and move at a good speed should not melt. Can do a test with a scrap piece of cloth and plastic to see how it does.
In the beginning of this video they show at least one lamp made out of plastic bottles.The only way it's safe to do this is to use FLORESCENT LIGHTS inside the lamp.Florescent lights dont heat up.Otherwize if one used a regular incandescent lightbulb in it it would heat up and set the plastic bottles on fire.For sure.Plastic is made of petroleum.Petroleum is flamable.

Hi i am taruni it's very simple and easy
u can paste ribbon around stitches so that it is not visible. it would b easier if u make holes first n do the stitches later :-)

Wouldn't it be easier with glue instead of sewing the zipper?
It would be EASIER, but the sewing is neater
+Cristina Sousa if you glue it, since the plastic is see thru, you can see our very not neat gluing

It doesn't work with a glue gun, it peels off when you try to open or close the zipper and the hot glue makes the plastic sink in, trust me I tried.
You can also use hot glue gun
