What’s the most surprising is how fast those boats are moving. They’re moving a lot faster than the ones in the US. I’m assuming they’re still on tracka under the water, since there isn’t much of a wake, just bubbling.
The US versions are on a track.
HKDL's ones are NOT on track, they are completely driven by the captain

Those boats must be turbo charged. He is almost going too fast.
@@wkydon any proof? he turned way too fast and not being on a track puts the park goers in danger as driver error can happen and would be a liability even though this is in HONG Kong and the US would be stricter with that, this is still a public park and Disney owned. would be foolish to have the boat driver just winging it with people on board

Ive been on all the Jungle Cruise rides and HK is my least favorite. The finale is meh. It feels like it should have been more but it's just underwhelming. The charm is lost on this version.
Everything is more widely spaced out. Is that the backside of explosion? They still have the natives although not the animatronics. Just sound effects. I love the fire effects. This is much better than the Woke and Boring Disneyland CA version.
Is there an English speaking version?
I've been before. They 3 separate lines: Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. English tends to be the shortest line.
Why is the boat going so fast? US is better,slower funnier otherwise identical.

Been on this one. By far the greatest jungle cruise in any park. That start is epic! It’s like riverboat free float and wide into the ride!
The way this is designed it looks like it is a real river due to its grander scale.
I mean its the newest version definitely gonna have the most wow factor compared to the oldest version that they rarely "update"(id call it maintenance tbh its old.)
Tribal part is pretty creepy. That's some intense screaming. 🤣
And their spears actually shoot!!
The ride might be better than the US counterparts but the skippers are better in the US, at least in terms of the jokes and acting. Yes, I understand the language.
Lame. I had a great funny host in Hong Kong. Spoke English. In USA it’s hit and miss. Some are good. Many are not.
It is a newer ride . It should be better. More advanced technology .
Actually there is a video of a female cm skipper from 2014 I saw. She was more enthusiastic & having fun with this. I don't if they got stricker with what skippers can or cannot say or something else

this is by far the worse commentator ever, there is no passion, there is no interaction or any excitment, and seems like he had enough of his job from minute one. I think his name is Leo(not sure) ?? Can someone do something about it because it is supposed to be exciting and entertaining. The one in CA tops it for sure
I agree. I don’t think he likes his job. He kinda just rush though the whole ride. I wouldn’t want to get on his boat.

Looks great but seems strangely emtpty and less jungle-like compared to the original ln Disneyland. But a bigger jungle, with more special effects.

I would LOVE 💗 to go to the Disneyland Resorts in Shanghai and Hong Kong/Macau w/ my wife and kids, BUT…
1.) Being retired from USMC AND the Dept. of Defense (but still do some consultation from time to time), I’m not allowed to travel to a communist country under ANY circumstances…☹️💔💔💔;
2.) My wife and can travel to communist countries, BUT, they won’t go there w/o me…❤️🤍💙.
