Hey, we have just came across your channel and are so excited! We love Florida and have just had twin girls which we plan to take in Sep 2025 (we were booked for this Sep but moving it!) they will be 2 years 7 months and seeing your Joey is giving us hope! About to sit and watch your entire Florida series so sorry in advance for the comments you might get on each video lol Quick question first - the car seat in the uber, did you take that or request an uber with it?? x
Thanks for watching and good luck getting through multiple videos. We have a few videos from when Joey was a similar age (November 2021), but they’re not vlog style. He was around 3.5 this series and just turned 3 in our June 2022 vlogs. 😊 We took one with us, but you can request an Uber with one already in. It costs $10 per journey though, so we took our own for days it wouldn’t be an issue having the seat with us/a friends car and then when we went to some of the parks we paid the extra for an Uber with one so we didn’t have to worry about where to store it - Discovery Cove looked after the seat for us without issue though.
What a great flight you had such a well behaved little boy he's a credit to you both. Love the hotel it gets great reviews. Looking forward to seeing your holiday
It looked to me like Joey was very well behaved during the flight, which is always a compliment to the parents. I've been on some nightmare flights where toddlers were allowed to run free around the cabin and create havoc. So, a big thumbs up to the two of you for keeping him occupied 👍👍
@@TwoandThreeQuartersUK Well, I'll be off to Orlando again in 10 days from now, flying directly from Amsterdam with Delta. I'll be visiting with a friend and will fly back on Februari 1st/2nd 2023 :-) And yes, that's a trip of close to 3 months :-) I'm looking forward to the Florida winter temperatures and sun when it might start freezing here in Europe 🙂
I know right? I mean how can water be so expensive! Probably a good job he loved entertainment himself with just 2 beds as that’s all he’d have been doing if we’d paid for that water! 😂
Great vlog. I am sure you were all tired after your travel day. We find Royal Pacific to be the best hotel. They have the best beds. Looking forward to seeing you get to the parks in future episodes.
Thanks, Kim! All tried apart from someone who had a very late nap! 😂 Those beds were just as good as I remember. Certainly comfier than the one we have at home! Take care.
Very kind of you, thank you! We’ll be back with our next adventures on Friday at 5pm. We have a full series from June 2022 too if you need any more content in the meantime! 🤭
You had a better landing that me, we had a go-around, circled for ages before diverting to Tampa to refuel & flew back again to MCO! Looks like you had a fantastic start to your holiday with Joey still wide awake 🤣 & it’s a shame I didn’t bump into whilst I was out there but I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of this vlog series
The food looks drab on Virgin. Can never understand why British carriers have those tiny cans either. Did the same trip in 1989 and the service was amazing back then, cannot believe MCO airport looks just the same.😊
It’s normally pretty good leaving from the UK, even if it doesn’t look it. All airlines coming back from MCO are always abysmal - we usually end up leaving it all after 1 bite!
@@TwoandThreeQuartersUK Hey there, I’ve dug out the Menu card from back then in 1989 to Orlando, I cannot upload the picture but here goes: Smoked Salmon Pinwheel and Seasonal Salad, Choice of: Topside beef in a reduced red wine jus, fried potatoes carrots and courgettes or; Cod in asparagus chive and tomato sauce with new potatoes, broccoli and carrots, or; Vegetarian choice by Cranks Health foods, Dessert; Banana mousse cake, cheese and biscuits, Tea- Coffee. Then afternoon tea: Savoury brioche filled with cream cheese, chive and Gammon ham; Scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam Tea-coffee. And says we apologise if your first choice is not available. On the catering front I am guessing Virgin use the cheaper catering company and menus due to cut backs nowadays lol
Hey! Sorry for the delay in replying. I think anything over 18 months your child will have a great time. Height requirements come in to it, so depending how tall she is will have more of an impact for Universal than Disney, but this was Joey's third trip, so we're firm believers of taking them young if that works for everyone and you think everyone will enjoy. If you have any specific questions, let us know. Likewise we post quite a bit on Instagram.
@@TwoandThreeQuartersUK Thanks :) Shes quiet tall for her age and its more for the experience than the rides (though we would like to drag her on to Tower of Terror lol)
Great tip about keeping the pram with you going through security. What one do you use for travelling? Haha Albie is always eating snacks in our vlogs 🙊🙈 Such a smooth travel day! Love how excited Joey is 🥰 The hotel looks amazing. Look forward to watching the rest of your series✨
I know, it saved us a lot of time (and sanity)! It’s a Zeta one, but I’m not sure which. We just use our normal day to day one and then stick it in a bag before it goes in the hoops. Haha snacks are the main thing to keep him (and probably us) going! Thanks 😊
Wait, you’re back again? Just joking 😂 Can’t beat a travel day, Virgin looks incredible btw, especially the film selection 😮 Is Sam over the room view yet too? 😂 Looking forward to the rest of the series 🫶
Did we keep it quiet? 😂🙈 Yeah it is, I mean TUI is the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to their entertainment - thankfully we managed to find enough to keep us going in June. Never… Especially when some friends at hotels further away got better views with VelociCoaster 😂
We only opted for an Uber with a car seat on a few occasions as we took our own car seat with us. Generally, no issues, but one morning after 10 minutes of trying and getting nowhere we had to get a slight bigger Uber with a car seat before we managed to get a ride. It costs us about $8 more as a result, but it was the less of two evils. I’d certainly use Ubers again out there.
What a lovely and happy family.
Joey is the cutest toddler ever
Really enjoyed your vlog reminds me of our trip in May when we stayed at Universal thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you're back soon!
Just found you guys great travel day video,, joy to watch ❤
Thanks so much! It’s good to have you here!

love the lightning McQueen suitcase 🤣 nice room & loved the view of the Islands of Adventure lighthouse from your window
I hope you’re getting one for you? 😂 A Universal fans dream to have a park view and I’ll happily take the lighthouse since IoA is my favourite!

Thanks, Janet! It’s a lovely hotel, we can certainly recommend it if you ever get the chance to stay there. We hope you have a great Sunday afternoon!
Fab travel day - love Royal Pacific resort x thanks so much for sharing x
Thank you! It was amazing, we loved it and it’s proximity to the parks! 😊 Take care.

Thank you! We’ve had some nightmare flights too, so we’re glad Joey turned out to be fine on planes 😊 We hope you’re having a great weekend!

7.50 for one water!!! Great vlog, Joey jumping across the beds full of energy and two tired parents faces - holidays with toddlers summed up!!

The A350 looks like a great plane. Love the nose and tail cameras.
Certainly a step up from their A330!
Very good vlogs, your son is a credit to you both, so well behaved, comes from good parents.
Very kind. Thank you!
Yay been waiting for this , love Joey's E.T outfit x
Thank you! I know, I’d love one of them too! 😆 Hope you’re all well!
I was exhausted just watching Joey so props to you guys 🤣
You get used to it. We had no choice. 😂 Thanks for watching.
