How I Start Seeds: My Setup and Tips! 🌱
I absolutely love seed starting, and I’m so excited to get started next month! In this video, I’m sharing my setup and tips so you can join along. I’ll show you my first rack, which is a great starter setup, and explain how I’ve expanded to a total of three racks over time.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
Heat mats for consistent soil warmth
Thermostat to control the heat mat temperature
Grow lights to give your seedlings the light they need
Seed cell trays with humidity domes to create a cozy environment for germination
As my setup grew, I added more racks to grow flowers for my cut flower garden and my perennial garden at school. I also use a rack with adjustable lights for taller plants like tomatoes.
You don’t need anything fancy to begin-just start small and grow as you go! I can’t wait to get started, and I’d love for you to join me.
