Pecorine absolutely deserved this. Poor girl was dealing with the fact that not only her identity and throne got stolen but her FAMILY as well. It was sweet seeing that She finally took them back
The happy music playing on top of this scene was really beatiful The tears shed in this scene were tears of joy happiness and relief That was a tearful reunion!!
I’m impressed that we got to see her parents and to be honest never thought we would get to see the family of the main characters of Princess Connect!!! I hope in the future to see the rest of the family members of both Gourmet Guild and Twinkle Wish!!!
well we still have not seen her "real parents" due to what this world really is. The King and Queen are only NPCs and her current belief they are her real parents is the result of everyone still being brainwashed to believe this VRMMO called Legend of Astrum is the real world. The Seven Crowns created this VRMMO and Labyrista (real name in the real world is Akira Mosakuji) went against the Seven Crowns after she learned the true purpose of creating Legend of Astrum VRMMO. Kokoro's father is also a member of the Seven Crowns but they yet to explain his role in the whole plot beyond being one of the people who created Legend of Astrum.
This was the only anime that almost got me to the verge of tears just because of the sheer amount of emotions I was feeling,. In the far far future, I can't wait to re-watch this show and have it bring a tear to my eye.
And with that, Landosol is saved, Pecorine got her title and old life back as a princess, Kyaru grew even more as a person, Yuuki saved the new timeline from being reset along with having new abilities with the help of Kokkoro, Kaiser getting sent to jail, and everyone lived happily ever after with Connecting Happy playing. And that was Princess Connect Season 2, man! What a ride that was! I argue and say that I love this season more than S1. While I may love S1 for what it is, S2 just takes what's great about it and cranks it up to 10. The story was great, the voice acting was top-tier, the comedic moments were riot, the emotional moments hits hard like a truck, and the art/animation was phenomenal. I had a blast watching this weekly along with Demon Slayer S2, and seeing it all the way to the end was worth it. And while I'm really gonna miss this anime, I can safety say that I had alot of fun watching it.
The Big Bad is saved and, while in prison, gets visited by the Gourmet Guild who do, in fact, bring rice balls. An ending so sweet it might just give you diabetes. Loved it.
I don't see how this is related to the story at all. Of course I've just been playing the app game, so it could be completely different. Well that's probably because a lot of people were put off by it because it's adapted from a Game. Personally I started watching this because I read it's got Konosuba's director. I started playing after watching season 1 and am still playing because the game is so fun + the characters are all so likeable.
To be honest, even if it's a new story for people who don't pay the game it's still has a lot of reference and terminology that only those who play the game can understand well.
It's really great they've used Connecting Happy as an ending song, really makes the mood. Btw, I really don't want to think this is over for good, I mean no Twinkle Wish? No Sheffy??? Even if that part of story story got pretty much wrapped up, there still a place for more adventure, right?
I feel they wrote themselves into a corner since S1 came out before the global release, and it was done as a way to show the game to the world. Since it differs from the game, S2 couldn't include twinkle guild like the game, though in saying that twinkle guild as a whole joined the story later in the main story, and only yui was with them in the quest and event storyline. If we get season 3, they can formally introduce twinkle guild and have ot lead into arc 2. Hell, many guilds didn't have their entire membership shown until later on so its hard enough giving everyone screen time
I am surprised they went this route to have the anime be a continuation of Pincess Connect Re:Dive game Season 1 Bad ending. However, this does provide opportunity for the developers of the series to start exploring certain lore they did not have time to cover if they don't plan to continue Princess Connect Re:Dive game beyond Season 2 since the game just finished its Season 2 storyline as well in JP version. Maybe explore more on Kokoro's father who is one of the people who created Legend of Astrum.
Well, with this ending alone they comfirmed season 3 (just by mationing Minerva of all characters is enought), still we need to see Yui and that other new member of Gurme guild from games.
I loved how they just put cuffs on Mana and were like "Aight, we just gonna trust you won't break out of these and this flimsy prison cage we made for you."
I'm happy for Peco's opportunity for catharsis, especially because she's so relentlessly positive all the damn time... but at the same time, it's seriously unnerving to me to see her become so sincerely emotional over what are, well... if you play the game, you know what I'm saying.
Esoecially since in the game she knows so she is more interested in trying to help Yuuki and the others find clues to fix the whole “trapped” situation.
