Andy is strong, intelligent, calm, and kind. I feel like I've been walking on glass for many years because all of the tension, insults, lies, and threats from the Republicans. When I listen to Andy, a weight is lifted off of my back, and trust in the leaders of America is restored. Governor Beshear would be a fantastic leader with vision who instinctively knows what to do in a crisis and how to restore security and excitement about a bright future for America 🇺🇸
Agreed. There's a reason we voted him in. Beshear is amazing, and he's Christian. He appeals to both sides. He has almost a 70% approval rating in our deep red state.
I consider Beshear to be the only honest politician I can name.
@SolidSiren Mr. Beshear is a good Christian and a good person. During covid when he was on the news regularly giving the latest information to the commonwealth of Kentucky my sister and I used to talk about what a fantastic president that he would make. ❤

His most recent approval rating according to the Morning Consult (Google) is 67%, in ruby red Kentucky, unbelievable. There must be some powerful magic going on there (just kidding).

Him being his father's son has played a big role in him being elected in KY. He wouldn't have been elected without that factor. That won't translate on the national stage.

Bwahaha! Beshear is anything but bipartisan. He has simply had his hands tied by the Republican supermajorities in the legislature and he made the best of it.
I really like him. I’m not in Kentucky, but I did grow up in Western NC, and East TN. Finally someone who fights for the people of Appalachia, unlike JD Vance who just exploited them for his own personal gain. Vote Blue to protect our freedom, and the less fortunate among us.

@@le6859 He's my governor. He's a good guy. But don't delude yourself. He won re-election by a bigger margin because he ran against a black man this time. All the other Republican candidates won statewide office. Too many MAGA followers wouldn't go for a black governor even with a Trump endorsement.

I dont consider "the best" as a woman who laughs at a serious border crisis where people are being killed. "I don't know why are you asking this question." That Lester Holt question told me all I needed to know about her. She cannot be commander in chief.

Governor Andy Beshear loves his country and state. He says he wants to bring everyone together. Talking about all positive success and details what he's done and what he continues to work for. I really like him.🇺🇸
He doesn't just SAY he wants to bring us together: he actually HAS for years as our governor. Lots of Republicans here like him and many love him. I have never known of a governor who is as well liked across the board as Beshear. He isn't fake, I've never seen him for even a moment be anything but the man you see in this interview. He does call people out for awful things, but not in a nasty way ever, and he focuses almost all his words daily to bringing people together, not dividing us. He is truly a man for the people, both Republicans and Democrats.

Wow! A man of faith who isn't trying to strip away rights and shove religion down our throats and quotes the Bible in a relevant way. As an agnostic, I've gotten inspired to keep the door to faith open. Isn't that something, Republicans? Kentuckian here. Lived in California from 2009- 2022, moved back to Kentucky. Beshear is the ONLY honest politician I've ever seen. He is truly an honest man with integrity, he's a Christian, a family man, and he doesn't fall into us vs them nonsense EVER. He is what our country needs.

Bashear is one of those keys to making the Dems back into a true “big tent” party.
Not only would he be one of the strongest vice presidents in the history of this country, but he would be a shoe-in for the presidency itself.
If he is picked Ohio, and maybe even Kentucky goes back in play, which will only galvanize the working class, and the south to switch back to the party that actually best represents the United States as a whole.
He should run for President in a few years, absolutely. He is EXACTLY what this country needs.
@@SolidSiren I have friends and family in Kentucky, some of them are without question SUPER CONSERVATIVE, and they all voted for him, and voted for Trump, which is wild to me, but makes a lot of sense in the context of him being able to speak their language, and understand their immediate needs as residents of a state like Kentucky.

she needs someone with a lot more experience than andy has. but i fully expect to see him pop up again for higher office in a few years. though being able to communicate AND reach across the aisle are both also important in this race. WALZ i think excels at communication and is from rural america with an understanding of it that he is GOOD at breaking down for others. i think he's the one. (check out jen psaki interview with Walz recently to see what i mean.)

I live in New England but the way he talks about Kentucky I wanna go see what it’s all about. Excited that he may be Harris’s choice and I’ve heard a lot of praise for him so I would hope he agrees.
9:30 i really like this bit where he talks about looking at his kids when they were born and thinking "am i doing everything i can to make this a better world for them?" like... it just really hits. i don't ultimately think he's on the shortlist but i'm really glad he's doing what he can in kentucky and not being a VP would mean he still has a lot more time with them, which he obviously values. he can always run later, too. you can't get back the earlier years with them.

He’d be a great VP pick. There are great arguments for Buttigieg, Shapiro, and Kelly as well. I think any of the four would bring a unique strength to help Harris.
