I know im late. There was even a short film called "kara" that was released 2012 (short film as in 7 mins) So certainly she was supposed to be the main character, but then the devs probably went with multiple characters just to show more and have different perspectives on the world
I think in this stage of the game Alice wasn't even created yet, Kara seemed more like a Markus wanting to fight for her freedom and explore the world. Discover her own personality and live, Alice changed her completly. The only way to get this kind of story is if you abandon Alice.

I think they briefly mentioned that the androids could be used as sexual partners in the old Kara tech demo. but i don't really know if that's canon yet
I think it'll 100% be explore in-game, particularly since the narrative centres on AI rights and consciousness. I can imagine an interaction between Kara and a specific model designed for sexual appeal already

Watching this again gives me feels.. how those Androids realized and got awaken when Kara walks near them is so powerful. Gahd this will always be the best game I ever had played.

The Amazing Lucas There are too many great endings though and if you were to put the whole game into a movie, they would have to cut alot of the storyline in order to fit it in at just 2 hours.
That would be kinda impossible since the game has so many outcomes, that it can't become just one story and one ending unlike the game having multiple stories and multiple endings...
I think it's impossible because if you want continuation of this game, which ending they want to continue? and it will a lot time and money to make it.

After seeing the most recent trailer, I'm a bit worried. Worried that this original narrative that captivated my intrigue is now lost. I'm hoping that it all connects together to tell a good story. I love the way they tell stories and Beyond Two Souls could have gone on to be a sequel as far as I am concerned.

Just finished this game and must say the game is better than many movies. My only disappointment was when you finish the game you don’t get to unlock the movie. No matter what choices you make it would have been an amazing popcorn flick to rewatch

After seeing the most recent trailer, I'm a bit worried. Worried that this original narrative that captivated my intrigue is now lost. I'm hoping that it all connects together to tell a good story. I love the way they tell stories and Beyond Two Souls could have gone on to be a sequel as far as I am concerned.

well there's multiple characters. you'll play Connor the negotiator who stops rogue androids and you'll play this chick a rogue android and anyone else they might add

Omg finally!!!!!!!! When I saw the Kara short demo 3 years ago, I really felt for this game. So beautifully captured and emotional beyond my eyes. In so happy they are finally making this into a game
just checking in 6 months or so later, and this game is still major hype from me. Looks so great!
Just finished this game and must say the game is better than many movies. My only disappointment was when you finish the game you don’t get to unlock the movie. No matter what choices you make it would have been an amazing popcorn flick to rewatch

RJ Seal yeah I couldn't remember. I guess they decided to make a game based off of the ideology of that tech demo. Which is cool for me because I find the whole ghost in the machine philosophy fascinating.

Very reminiscent of that early PS3 tech demo, if memory serves it centred around an android that gained consciousness which was seen as a defect and therefore warranted deconstruction. Cool!
