Hi Todd, I opened up the alternator, replaced the brushes and changed the bearings... and cleaned it up. Wasn't a big deal and brings the alternatir back to life. And pulley is probably in a wrong position now anyway. So, you might need to digg into there again

With that new pulley on alternator wont your belt be miss/aligned??

You might need to remove the alternator to put the high pressure power steering line in?

Hi, from Madrid, my alternator is Broken, what compatible alternator did you use do you maker and reference? Mine is a Sev Marchal 71236002, It IS for early 928 yet mine is a 1981 year model
