Wow, it's cool to see this video after so many years. I was there when they filmed it at the Providence Civic Center. A lot of the shots were taken during the show. Afterwards, they asked the people that were still hanging around if they wanted to be in the video. So, they had everyone come down from the nose bleed seats, where I was, and fill up the floor. They moved all the ladies up front.... of course. I think they ran through the song maybe 4 times. They were lip syncing but, it was still cool to see how it was done.

Just never die, they never die

I had the pleasure of being at this concert in Providence, RI when they filmed this video!
40 years later and one of my favorite albums.
Best album allied forces 80.s😊😮!!!!!!!
Jesus to have two singers that good it's insane
You know what kills me? Watch Gil. His drumming looks effortless, like he's not doing anything technical at all... yet he's kicking percussive ass AND nailing vocals.
When it come to drummers their is Neil -Gil and Jeremy From Our Lady Peace. There not alot of us Canadians and we have lots of space and when we do things right there is no mistake in how good we are!!
I see what you mean.
You could throw some juggling into the mix and he'd still be nailing it
he is a smooth player for sure,,not sure if he had a part in writing the lyrics but the words bounce off his drum parts smoothly.
He was an early inspiration to me as a drummer/singer.
Drummer-singers are rare, and deserve a huge amount of respect for what they do!
2023 - just an awesome song that gets better with age.
Saw them at the Baltimore arena when I was 17. Best damn cincert I had ever seen.
Damn, do you still half of the ticket? Amen Bro.
What year. I too saw them Baltimore. While it was still the Civic Center, in 1986...
@@HighSpeedNoDrag ~ I do. Always keep my concert stubs...
@@Deborahtunes Right On and I have a few.
Saw them at the US Festival 40 years ago today and still talk about it.
Just think...3 guys make these sounds... and their music is still relevant even in these twisted times.
This group has wonderful musicians and beautiful songs I don't want to write a never made it to the hall of fame they're really awesome
Hi there,how are you doing?
I've fought for them to be 8nducted into the US Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. They've done very well with recognition in Canada
Let's keep fighting the good fight for them! They truly deserve the rock and roll of Fame I the interesting possible that they can't get in to me
It's the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (with a buncha crap r&b and rap artists)," not the "Rock and Roll Hall of Excellence."
The 2nd best rock band from Canada (for some the best). Beautiful heavy rock with a mix of 70's and 80's sound. Long Live Triumph and Canada! I Love You!
A powerhouse trio that turned out really, really great music.
I have so much respect for drummers who can sing! I’m out of breath just walking up the stairs so I can’t even imagine how you do that!
Hey Bonnie if one day you're sitting there thinking and suddenly you remember that I really loved this song. While you're reminiscing about the good times we had, maybe, just maybe you'll google Follow your heart and see this comment. I Love You Always now and Forever.
2 great singers, one of whom one of the best guitarists of all time. miss them. one of my 1st concerts. Thunder Seven tour. Awesome
Triumph is the feel good band I love them thier bad a I have most of their albums go triumph
I had the privilege of being at this concert when it was recorded :) ...I will cherish this memeory forever
I bet that was awesome!!!
Providence Civic center I was there to great times
Providence Civic center
This is a great song, Triumph has so many great songs, Gil Moore has a good voice and plays great on the drums
I saw them in Worcester Massachusetts back when I was 16. In the 80s they were great
I wish i could go to a Triumph concert. I grew up to my grandparents listening to them and it just amaze me the talent is amazing. Erik Emmet was my fave. He’s got the most beautiful pristine tone without even trying.
saw them one night in mississauga ontario Q107 radio Anniversary night , with saga , alana miles , awesome
Lets not forget one of earths greatest drummers.no doubt.
I grew up listening to Triumph.. Absolutely excellent band.. They made it to the top but unfortunately didn't stay there that long.. They left their fans wanting more... 😔
Lead vocals were tight and I lived in NY and could get all the canadian album rock stations from toronto, hamilton and Fort Erie!
Glad we could help out!! The one thing is the radio PD was brain dead. Seemed like Magic Power was the only they had. Was played one last hour of a shift Friday and first hour on Monday. There are so many of their songs I could listen to over and over. But not that one
Ohh baby! A powerhouse anthum if there ever was one.
One Of The Greatest Rocknroll Bands In History. BAR NONE: Regardless of Location. The Talent N This Band Borders Mind Boggling. Such Rocknroll Purists. It's sad what happened really. I just did 38bmonths in Prison for something I didn't do. Your music was only a thought away and just the thought of your music helped me through, gave me hope, andcfueled my inspiration. Work Out Your Differences Like Grown Folks and Get Back Together for a Reunion Tour.
This album is a hidden gem. Stranger In A Strange Land, Midsummer's Night Dream, Little Boy Blues, and this song have stood the test of time.
2 beautiful voices in that group
What is it that Canadian 3-piece bands can sound so full and huge and have so much going on?......
I was at the filming of this video when I was 17 in 1985. What a night! The played Follow Your Heart earlier in the evening. Then at the end of the show they said anyone who wants to stay can and they played it about 3 more times for more video footage. We didn't leave until they did!
Look this band had 2 lead vocalist they were 3 piece band I saw them in Seattle before they was Triump and with out they should be in the Rock b Roll Hall of Fame
This song is a masterpiece !!
Imagine you're not just amazing musicians but you have some of the highest vocal ranges in rock n' roll too! Unreal.
This is the best Canadian let'go Triumph
Ummm Rush ?
This song still absolutely blows me away 40yrs after it was released! F#%king amazing!!!
Best lighting show in rock. The Jackson 5 who we’re on tour took their lighting guy after! Just learned they on the documentary last year!
Saw them in ‘85 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena my 1st concert 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻still love this band
That's right folks, Their drummer has kick azz vocals too. :)
Triumph was so underated and deserved a hellavah a lot more adulation than they got!
Outstanding band… very little known here in OZ. Same as Rush …. A great shame they never toured here. Canada can produce some very good music. ! 👍🥃🇦🇺
I wish i could go to a Triumph concert. I grew up to my grandparents listening to them and it just amaze me the talent is amazing. Erik Emmet was my fave. He’s got the most beautiful pristine tone without even trying.
@ That’s for sure. Very crisp. Very clean. Don’t hear music like this anymore unfortunately. Thanks for the get back. Go well. 👍🥃🇦🇺

OUTSTANDING!!! Rik is the MAN!!! Such a great artist ❤️
One of the best Canadian bands ever. So underrated...
triumph will always be, the band us rockers, rocked to and our grandkids will love for the same reason long after we are gone......
This song (like many others is so awesome) but what I love about this video is that they are looking like they are having so much fun!
They were like a Christian Rock Band their message was always inspirational.
Except they weren't, thankfully.
You show me in the Bible where you can have a one night stand! (Just one night)
They were not a Christian band!
@@chrisdeeschirm4035 They were LIKE...she had written.
Kinda, but being Canadian probably had a lot to do with that
Such a beautiful band followed from 30 years back.Fantastic songs produced till now can listen without being bored. Thanks to Triumph God brought them into our life to cherish and feel joy with their songs .
