What about the people who owe thors revenge for all the people he killed? And would that even be thors fault since he was doing it on behalf of King sweyn? Its better to just make the world better instead of making it worse in the name of justice and then you arent even getting justice because the person you killed was just an intermediary.
@@nullakjg767 Revenge against anyone who is responsible for wrong doings against you or the ones you care about. Exactly, Askeladd wasn't responsible, he was just the intermediary, Thorfinn's problems were that he was being stupid about it all and going after the wrong person, he was never in the wrong for actually going for revenge, the lust for revenge is only natural, to some at least.
If Thors had ever killed unjustly and unprovoked then yes, I wouldn't blame anyone for seeking revenge against him, however in the military, on the battlefield, each side is hired and tasked with killing the other.
There's no objective good, bad or justice, so at the end of the day, you are for revenge or against, the world isn't better or worse off with or without it
@@evilcommunistpicklerick3175 Its def worse off. War doesnt only target the person who wronged you, just ask einar.
