It’s always so nice to sit down to your parade of magnificence each week, Karl. Thanks for scouring the web for us. The Schuco BMW is absolutely next on my list. I love the line “It’s always something” about the GL Caddy.
Hi Karl. If you've ever watched wtffor, you'll see that he makes good use of faulty Greenlight models, by consigning them to his awesome scrapyard diaorama!
That Cadillac Sedan Deville is gorgeous. GreenLight will be releasing that particularly one in the Hollywood Series. I also like the Lowrider addition they did, too. I picked up the 1964 Chevrolet Impala (Gypsy Rose) and the 1973 Cadillac Coupe Deville(Black). Super great pickups here!
Wow thank Rocky Cadillac is totally awesome even with the wonky whitewalls. The Volvo looks quite nice and the Skyline is super. They use to race these Skylines at Bathurst in the 80's and 90's.
One of the reasons I decided to collect 1/64 was to save space.. turns out they didnt save that much space 😅 I know what you mean about the boxes, but definitely worth keeping them. I think Inno has stepped up their game relative to Tarmac (like for like at least, as you mention), although I do like their Global64s in terms of value.
I was very worried after I preordered this Jesko. My resin Jesko got cancelled twice so ordered the HKM. Seems OK for the price; hope my paint is smoother whenever it comes it. I hope the resin one comes out again someday. I used to have Brekina 917Ks in 1/87 but foolishly sold them a long time ago so glad I can try again in 1/64. Oddly the 1/87s look better than this but I'm sticking to 1/64.
The crooked bumper on the Caddy is annoying. Mine has the same issue. Its almost like its hanging down as I can gently push it up. I wonder if it can be glued up... My lowriders seemed to have straight one though - but need to double check. GL needs to increase their price by a third and spend that on QC - I end up having to buy 1/3 of my GLs twice on average.
I just fixed mine and found that the issue was poor trimming of the sprue points on the grille above the bumper. Easy to fix if you can get the bumper off. I agree on GL pricing.
I have been picking them up much more frequently lately. It was definitely a brand I was slow to warm to but I've developed a real affinity for some of their castings now.
Would you consider selling some of your empty acrylic cases? Also, just to let you know, you reversed the info on the Camaros. The light blue was the 71 with an aftermarket motor, so a resto-mod. The white/blue was the 72 with the 396.
If I ever decide to part with them I'd actually be happy to just give them away but I'm not quite there yet. May be coming though. Ugh on the Cameros. :-( I'm hopeless when it comes to old Muscle cars, my appreciation of them has only really developed in the last couple years and mostly via diecast so I know so little.
@@StingerDiecast lol, I totally understand, love your videos though, just thought I'd let you know. :) If you do get there, I'd take some cases as I make customs and they look great in the cases!
"There is a fingerprint on the truck." "This wheel is pretty bad" "The hood should open, but it doesn't" "The bumper is a little crooked" [actually a lot] "This wheel is a bit wonky" "Very cool! Cool set!" Man, I wish I had your temper. That's why I don't buy Greenlight, instead of bringing me joy, it can ruin my day. I do make exceptions sometimes, I bought the UN Jeep, and that thing is perfect. The model and the QC.
You can find many videos where I get frustrated with Greenlight but most of the time now I just expect it and simply try to look past the issues to appreciate the essence of what they're doing. Their designers clearly put a lot of work into these models and really do a good job and it's just the manufacturing side that has major issues. If there was another brand that did what Greenlight does but with better quality I'd drop them in a second but that doesn't exist so it is what it is as the company has clearly shown repeatedly that they simply don't care about manufacturing QC. Also, as you mention, they can put out a quality model so any defects are always unit specific and that doesn't really affect whether an actual release is good or not.
36:02 the Supra before and this E36 M3 coupe yellow my favourite beautiful model and casting, cheers 🍻🥂 KC 🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸😎😊👍
Just picked up that M3 in blue too, looks even better than the yellow one.
@@StingerDiecast awesome I'll be watching 👍😎🇦🇺

Really looking forward to picking up the low riders. I'm hoping to be able to get a case as that Gypsy Rose is a tough one to find.
@@StingerDiecast Yes, I was very shocked to see Gypsy Rose and in good condition, too. I'll sit there and really examine it to make sure no flaws 👍
Love the video cool 😎 stuff
Welcome again Boss! Show me what u got 😎
That is a cool looking car...
Fantastic Selections this week Karl! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks
I had never heard of Inno 64. Wow. Those castings are pretty spectacular. Thank you for sharing!
It is becoming a really amazing brand. FYI, in my Beyond Hot Wheels series Episode 1 focuses on Inno64 and shows many of their models.
Very Nice 👍
Awesome casting bro, nice collection bro

These Caddys from Greenlight are really cool. I really need to order the lowriders.
Konigsegg: You overlooked the LEGO version for $20. 😉 I always enjoy the videos - thank you.
LOL 👍✌️
Merci pour le partage 👌
Thank you

Yeah who knew tiny cars would end taking up so much space.
Love these videos keep them up, you should try and video you out buying them haha

I binged watched several of your videos; loved them! Can you share where you get/sources of the diecasts? ie: the Sparky Porsche and HKM koenig?
Mostly this stuff just comes from ebay from china based sellers.I believe both of those were from the seller moxtoys.
Love your videos, do you have any gaincorp models? If so, what is your opinion on them ?
Not sure what that is but sounds familiar. Is that GCD?
@@StingerDiecast Yes, it is GCD.
Would love to see you get more M2 ik your opinion on them but they are really good for their price

Thanks, wasn't sure I would be.

Will you get the Timemicro terzo ?
Not sure on that one. Do you have it?
