100 Lesser-Known Works of Maria Prymachenko are Shown at an Exhibition in the Ukrainian House

The exhibition of 100 lesser-known works of Maria Prymachenko called "Maria Paints" is ongoing in the Ukrainian House. As the curators write, in her work the artist wished to transform everything ugly into something beautiful. In her later work, she reflected on the Second World War and the Chornobyl disaster. For years, these works were in the private collection of art critic Eduard Dymshits. Why only now, during the full-scale invasion and after other exhibitions have been held of Prymachenko's paintings, saved from the Ivankiv Museum, did the collector decide to show them to the general public? Journalist Iryna Pryhor learned about this at the opening of the exhibition.

Виставку відвідав. Цікавий світ наївного мистецтва. Мені поки не зрозумілий, хоч кілька картин і зачепило, але світ класний тому що багатогранний.
