I honor the Lord for Mrs. Alikija And, What impressed me the most was not how much money she is worth money wise, what impresses me the most out of all of her accolades and accomplishments is that out of all that God has done she is able to understand and perceive that it was God who gave her the power to get wealth and I understand through God that wealth is not money it’s an assignment and attachment of Gods promise upon your life that extends to the seed of Abraham and the very fact that this woman of Gods mouth utters Gods Name praise and adoration speaks a integrity and dignity and utmost respect of a modern day Proverbs 31 Graceful Queen! So, even though I don’t know her personally, I honor the Lord for this champion among women whose light is shining so bright for the whole world to see I subscribed this evening because of her ability to speak wisdom in volumes in the gospel and in business may God continue to bless this woman of God and her family and all that she does to honor God!
Yeah! The God factor is undeniably a force in her success. She acknowledged in every word spoken that fact so unapologetically. No wonder why she is so blessed with wisdom & spirit of excellence. The second point is her deep respect for family unit & sacredness of marriage despite her wealth. For some men & women with the same opportunity, they would have placed themselves above their homes and institution of marriage. She has consistently emphasised that her oil wealth is a family business. Many congratulations Mrs. Folorunso Alakija.
I watched this interview and I am blessed. Ma, I love the way you were emphasizing and giving all the glory to God. I believe your story because people who would be great in life and have always listened to God will know that when God leads you and you obey Him, you will surely end well

A great model for Christians who think being a Christian reduces your opportunity to become super successful. Another role model for this generation of ''BABY MAMAS''. The grace of God on women to be able to handle loads of tasks is one every wise woman should harness. Never ever say or think that women are weak or any less than men. Never also think that successful women can't keep a happy family. If a few people can do it, then every one who puts in the work can do it.
She is not a role model. When will Nigerians start asking questions on how a tailor with a store called "Rose of Sharon"in Surulere in the 90s who got billions during Babangida's corrupt regime of oil block allocation became a role model? She was the tailor to the wife of the military president who kept "stuff" with her. Too many shallow thinkers. Corruption will end when people actually start asking for the source of people's wealth. Every Nigerian claims to know a God who does not frown at corruption and oppression. Ask her for the details of her charity works. I don't know her personally but everyone knew she was Maryam Babangida's tailor. Im a christian but Nigerians mostly practice a version that will make Christ cringe. Its only in Nigeria that a tailor becomes an oil baron and they hail her as a role model. Ask her how she got the oil block.
