I know it’s only day 17, but I’m gonna miss this 30 days series. I will definitely miss that intro song. It has been a good series that help me go through a bad time for these past two weeks. Thanks Micah.

1:50 balls to the walls is not an aviation term. The phrase originated with the centrifugal governor, a device invented in the 17th century that prevented steam engines from running out of control. The governor had balls on it that, when at full speed, would spin completely horizontally towards the walls. AKA balls to the walls... full speed

"Balls to the wall" and "Pushing the envelope" are both from aviation.
Balls to the wall means FULL THROTTLE! The pilot would push the throttle levers, which had balls on the end for the pilot to grip, all the way forward to the wall of the cabin. It means all in, full go/send, go crazy, etc.
Pushing the envelope in reference to the literal written documentation about the "limits" of each aircraft. If a pilot pushed the envelope then he's either at the known or percieved limits of the aircraft or even beyond.
To my knowledge balls to the wall comes from the steam engine days when they had a centrifugal governor which had two balls on it and as the engine spun faster the balls would spin faster and the balls would go up and out eventually shutting a valve to slow it down (or something like that). When the engine was at full speed they were “going balls out” or “balls to the wall”

Definitely not what balls to the wall means. It WAS brass balls but used to gauge the speed at which turbine was spinning (powered by a steam engine). When the engine was going full haul, the balls would elevate due to the spinning force and point towards the wall. Like a centrifuge.

Tig man I am happy you reached your goal, you hit some good iron shots and made a few nice putts.
The driver still costed you between 2/3 shots.
Hitting into the water costed you at least 1 shot maybe 2 and the driver on the 9th costed you 1 maybe two.
I know you were hitting from the cart path and wasn’t a major flaw but mentally if you were prompt up in the fairway cause you hit a 2 iron, you would have hit a 5 iron perhaps in but your mentality would have been that 20% stronger and the shot was 20% easier to hit.
Please for the love of Moses out the driver away brother.
You don’t need it.
Please a month without it and compare to your current stats and if I am wrong I am wrong but I guarantee with 99% accuracy your average shot per round will be less.

I’m having problems with my grip. I definitely do like the interlock. And I’m ok with the over lock. And I know the baseball grip is not the way to get better. Just don’t get the distance I won’t with the interlock

Hey 👋🏻 would you mind sharing what size shirt you use from BadBirdie? They look pretty sweet, but it's a bit of a hazzle if I order a bunch over seas and the size isn't what I expected. Here in Europe, general sizing like M or L can vary a lot between countries. I'm just shy of 6ft, about 168lbs and have a similar athletic build as you (mesomorph). Would also be cool if you mentioned if you are ever "between sizes", or if you are a "solid M" or whatever it may be.... 🙏🏻
