Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, is where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, and featuring the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade, respectively, “Elemental” releases on June 16, 2023.

Wade is such a sweetheart to everyone. I wish everyone could have the kindness he has. I’m also glad he didn’t fall of the bar he was standing on while cheering. 😂

I loved wade as soon as the trailer was released because he reminds me of my boyfriend
I absolutely love that at the beginning Ember is ashamed of Wade shouting like crazy but later she is very surprised of the impact that action had in the game and in the other people, like the ability to connect with other people at that level that she doesn’t have.
Wade kind nature is what made Ember became interested in him.
I love how all the water elements form a wave to cheer up Lutz!
I just love how they used an actual wave compared to us using our arms😂😂
I love when that happens at soccer games, seeing the scene reminded me of when I went to see a game with my dad and we got to be a part of a wave. So much fun!
This movie deserves so much more 🤧 the wave was such an amazing touch to the energy while cheering! WE LOVE ELEMENTAL 🗣️‼️🔥💧🫶🏼

@Infered it's currently past $300 million, on track to $400, projected to settle around $450, assuming the next 2 weeks continue this comeback streak. It's not my fault the marketing was atrocious... and not my fault they picked a June release date. Point is, if it was a box office bomb, nobody would be going to see it right now... the only reason they are is because of word-of-mouth from those who saw and loved Elemental.

Man, you can tell Mamoudou Athie was having an absolute blast with this character and this movie. I loved his performance in Archive 81, but this movie is easily one of my favorite performances of his.
I’ve never heard of him until this movie and I genuinely hope we see more of him in the animated world. He brings so much charm, humor and likability to Wade that it’s impossible to not love him.
He was also in Jurassic World Dominion which funny enough released almost exactly one year before Elemental did

I feel like this scene is foreshadowing the films performance... and honestly, there are so many memes you could make... but I could not be happier to see Elemental making a comeback, due to the dedication of fans who want nothing more than to see it get an honest chance.

Absolutely give it a watch!! Probably preaching to the choir here but omggg the story y’all. The story is genuine and puts a clever spin on some typical tropes. The animation and colors as a result speak for themselves. And ALL the characters are ones to fall in love with (personal faves are Wade and Bernie, tho the moms are great too). Please give this movie the support it needs!
It's criminally underrated. It's really good, go and see it in the cinema if you haven't already!

Hope they do a sequel someday real soon, since it is inspired by Peter Sohn’s life story I have an idea that Pixar might like if Ember and Wade get married and have a family of their own. Like Peter has two kids perhaps Ember and Wade have twins, a son who is water but warm like a hot spring, emerald green coloured, has steam for hair instead of waves like all water elements and can blow steam from his mouth. A daughter who is fire of red and blue, has a slim body, gives off a luminous light more brighter than normal fire, each child can survive in and touch both Fire and Water. These ideas seem fitting since fire and water together make light and steam at contact so both these compounds should be added to their children to show their chemistry of being half fire and half water.
I haven't seen it in cinemas yet, But I'm seeing it this week!
