Just moved back to Ohio after a year of living in mobile AL. My wife’s family are all Louisiana natives, and we went to New Orleans, and as a life long drummer, I absolutely loved zydeco music, and particularly zydeco drumming/percussion. It’s unlike anything else. Can’t wait to go back to the big easy!
You did a great job bro. Sounds accurate enough to me. The best thing was that you didn't treat zydeco as if it was cajun music. Most people outside of our culture treat them as though they are one and the same. They are, not at all, the same thing.
